Its been long time i havent visit there because plasa simpanglima closed during ppkm and i want to visit there just try some elevator... its fun for me to filming elevator...
If I remember correctly Plasa Simpanglima have been partially reopened around the end of August, and since the reopening was partial, I guess some of the elevators have been put out of service. Sadly we have to move out of Semarang before we had a chance to go there again.
Would've loved to see them in their original condition though! It's a crying shame that all of them have been horribly modernized by Killar. I remember seeing this elevator from KAFE (now inactive) and at first I couldn't figure it out what brand it was; later I thought it was a GoldStar due to the analog indicators. Later when TG97Elevators came here in early 2018 and showed me some closeup photos of the analog indicators, I realized that this was a Dong Yang after comparing them with the external analog indicator from Pondok Indah Mall 1's famous scenic elevator. Fun fact: Apparently before Dong Yang appointed Pura Kentjana as their distributor in 1988, they had already installed two elevators in Jakarta, probably as pilot projects to test their products in Indonesia before finally selling them here.
Hopefully the least discovered ones in the back is an original Dong Yang. It was said to be derelict like the GoldStar in the front though. Speaking about the first Dong Yang elevators in Indonesia, have you found where those elevators were installed?
Unfortunately no. Majalah Konstruksi didn't even mention where those very first Dong Yang elevators were installed, but I'm highly sure they're gone now.
Eskalator yang dimatikan hanya yang turun ke bawah. Untuk yang naik ke atas semuanya sudah dipasang sensor supaya berhenti saat tidak terpakai. Pemasangannya agak asal-asalan sih, soalnya saat masuk eskalatornya langsung nyala dengan kecepatan penuh.
@@wiwuuvators pas kali menginjak eskalatornya baru jalan? Yang di Solo Paragon Mall sensor travelatornya kurang nyaman, baru jalan ketika sudah menyentuh lantainya travelator dan kecepatannya penuh. Rasanya di dengkul , kayak mau jalan tapi tidak jadi
