Lower rolls will always favor the 392 especially if you hook and book. The higher rolls are where the Coyote and that ten speed transmission gets ya. I've raced mustangs several times and it's the only the ten speeds that give me issues. Get a 1320 Challenger on a tire and it's not even close.
@techboys100 I almost got one but they are entirely useless unless your going to the track. They have no benefit over a regular scat other than trans break and suspension. Which sucks for the road
The Mustang 10 speed falls a little on its face once it hits 7th gear. They short shift from 6th into 7th on the stock tuning. The scat pack was at the top of the rev range in 4th which is why it creeped up, then he had to shift into 5th, falling out of the scats powerband because that's a long gear for the manuals.
Yeah I could feel that shift in the mustang and could tell it was an early shift then saw the scat creeping. None the less, I was still surprised from the manual scat.

It's because the 5.0 had a passenger when racing the scat, then the scat had the passenger when racing the 300. Passenger does make a big difference. The fastest car here all things equal is the Mustang, then scat, then 300.
good runs 🔥 , these races be confusing me bc i haven't yet lost to a 10 speed 5.0 and i have a vid on my channel and supposedly they are faster stock for stock but it seems for me at least the Lt1's do better and always top end me around 150 🤔
@@cormaro13only reason 5.0 beating them is 10speed and weigh about 3,800.A 2015 scatpack weighs 4,082 and still keeping up and can win.The 6.1L(srt8) got less hp than all 3 at 425hp,stang got 460-480hp & Scatpack got 485hp

That’s crazy too see I have both cars but my scat is an 8 speed and my 5.0 is a base with the 10 speed and 3.15 gears witch are better from a roll then the 3.55 but my 5.0 walks my scat easily

Manual challenger was no slouch a driver mod would help. Did can drive as well though
6.1 need to swap his lift to cat lifts he be running strong up top get to feel all the power other then that great content
10speed would walk off on that manual scat if he had advanced track off and did sport to Drive with the shifter
He was in track mode down shifting to get into the right gear.
should of tried with you in the scat as well for some runs, think the weight difference was what made the scat pull a few times
