these guys just continue to improve as a live unit. I appreciate the chaotic and frenetic energy they've brought in live shows over the past decade, but it's really awesome to hear them tighten up to deliver performances that sound almost identical to the recordings.
@dragonmountainfanboy3960 they lost their former band mate Gabe and also Trevor from BDM. Plus they had other personal stuff going on I believe and a European tour which they didn't particularly enjoy.
Saw them at the Observatory in Orange County and the sound there was so terrible. I felt bad for the band, they played great but the venue totally failed them and the fans.
Sorry but the ‘clean’ vocals in chorus are average at best compared to studio version 😞 metal vocalists that don’t play guitar live really need to do better these days. If you want proof of how high the standard of live metal vocals should be these days, listen to new Fear Factory vocalist Milo Silvestro - he is brilliant live with growls and clean vocals
well to be fair, they are not clean vocals, there are none in this whole song, I cant think of another bad that does these vocals, and it looks like this video is recorded on a cell phone..
@@joelex7839 there are 2 chorus sections with actual notes/melodies being sung in studio version. He aint producing the same notes as accurately live. Cell phone still records pitch well enough to tell if in tune or not. Shame cos the studio version of song sounds fantastic
@@trev1978 it's probably not as easy to stay in tune when you are doing that kind of weird singing. obv i would like if they were in tune but it's not a "beautiful" song so it doesnt matter as much if they are a bit off
@@maaaaaap its really hard to stay in tune while doing his “goblin vocals” usually i add some distortion to coverup mistakes but its really fucking hard to do what he does so I applaud him and regardless he is having fun and everyone in the pit is having a blast so no loss to me.
Damn Travis' live vocals sound so much better than they did before, awesome!

Never seen these guys live but they seem really tight, and sounds pretty spot on with the album version
Great show 🤘🏽 also funny how Travis screamed out the wrong song name 😂🐂
I love his surprised reaction when the song starts
Maybe he's getting old.

Although CD is one of my fav bands, I wouldn’t mind some improvement in Travis’es “clean” vocals.

@trev1978 homie, you do realize that Travis is approaching 50? Pipe down. They're doing great.
