Hey, everyone. I need to apologize for not coming through with content every two weeks. I'm really sorry. I will not be making a promise like that in the future.
I do plan on making more content, but not at this time.
I also took down my first video because I found out I had made some rookie mistakes there as well.
As a teacher and member of my community, I can tell you I will do better.
Skating has taught me that no matter how good you get, falling, or, in other words, failing, is inevitable. To fix it, first admit your mistake, accept the consequences, take time to analyze your failure, then move forward with that knowledge and experience in mind, that's how you will get better. That is why continually trying matters.
Thank you to all my 388 current subscribers, I really appreciate your patience with me. I will be back! ❤

Skating is really good therapy. I have a minor foot injury and I am not able to skate for a while and I'm going nuts not being able to skate while it heals. Patience........

For real! I hear doing Wim Hof breathing can help increase the healing process. Wish you all the best and a quick recovery!

Hell yeah Jake makes it look so easy, let's go!!! A beginner, beginner series with very basics, gradually moving to intermediate to advanced would be great

Thanks Ace!! I have a few videos to complete, and then I will be starting a new series with lessons and drills to help in all stages. Thanks for the like and the encouragement!

Hi JAKE thanks for great video.I just managed my best backward crossover so far at local rink.they not quite right yet but with dodgy ankle it’s best can do for now.well I can do backwards crossover better than forwards.my ankles feel weak going forward.I. Can get quite but speed forwards and manage to stop ok my curling round like power stop .I’m thinking it’s my window cleaning wear tear holding me back but then again it’s kept me fit all these years😊.Just seen a 79year old guy in Southport ,uk who has been inline skating last 19years in his home town.he was even banned from his local shopping centre. His daughter said to him at 60 how can you keep fit?he said he used to ice skate when he 19.when he older another skater hit him and he broke his hip.luckily due to his inline skate fitness he didn’t need hip replacement .amazing .it all depends on what sort life you had but still amazing .don’t feel I’m goin be on skates at 80.but would try😊.

I'm getting better in skating forward. But that's it only. I'm doing lemons, using lemons to stop. I turn around in some steps not a nice slide. Which is more important to learn now? Skating backwards? I'm getting a little.... Or turning around in a slide technique?
