This is a truly excellent performance. This may be a weird question, but is there a way of asking these three guys for permission to use the song in a podcast (with attribution, of course)? One of my best friends, who was also a co-host on a podcast I'm on, recently passed away. Knowing he was terminal, he wrote his own funeral and requested "Angel Band" be played. At some point, my remaining co-hosts and I would like to edit together some kind of tribute to our friend, probably in the form of several episodes compiling his best moments from the podcast, sort of the "Greatest Hits of Dave." On one of those, I'd like to include "Angel Band," if possible. I think the song itself is old enough to be public domain, but I'm still having a hard time finding a good performance of it that isn't copyrighted or under license. In case it matters, our podcast is not monetized, and even if it were or is in the future, such a memorial episode would not be. If the guys in the video would not or cannot give permission, that's understandable. But, I figure it doesn't hurt to ask. Again, it's a beautiful performance, and I'm impressed with the sound quality, especially considering they sang outside.
