I've had my trailer for over a year. It tows really well with my smaller SUV. I do like having another person to help me load it as I found it easy to not line up with the rail. If you miss the rail and keep going forward it is very easy to run the bike off the front of the trailer. Over all I'd give it a solid "B" for the money. I'd give it a "-C" for ease of use. I would give it an "A" for storage and storage. I'm in my high 60's and would probably enjoy this trailer more when I was younger. If I knew what I knew now I'd probably spend more money to get a that loads easier and requires a less steep angle to load. My bike weighs about 600 pounds and expensive to repair. I also think I'd like the trailer more if I had a lighter and easier bike to load.
Never ride a bike up onto a trailer. I did it for years a d it always went smoothly until one day I stalled the bike on a cool night and the ramp was damp and the bike and I both went over the side of the ramp. Take your time and walk beside the bike. Its awkward at first but after 2 times both loading and unloading this way I bet you will like it better.
Whew. Bummer for you bro. Be more careful id say. As for the rest of us, I think a bike under power is in much greater control than a 700 lb machine being wrestled by a human up the ramp.
That's why the solid ramp set up on this trailer. Your feet can reach the ramp and your front brake holds you in place if you stall the motor. Pretty easy.
Like your video … but why I’m sending this comment is because I have a model of that BMW on my shelf with a stand. It’s very detailed and Red. Let me know if you’re interested in owning it
Only 1000 lbs? Since my bike weights that, I guess this doesn't leave much of a safety margin and so I can't consider buying it. Pretty but you really should consider making a heavier duty model, or at least covering how incredibly well this does at working at it's maximum capacity..
@@moralthreat2745 Exactly. My Forester Touring only has a tow capacity of 1500lbs (should have researched that a little better before buying, though I did know the Wilderness can tow 3k... just didn't think I'd be towing that much). Anyway, would be a piece of cake towing either of my Triumphs on this trailer (Tiger and Bonneville 1200 (Both in the mid to high 500 lb range). This is on my definitely wish list (want to look into the cost of registration, and how much I would really need to use it before I pull the trigger).
@@chuck7432 Too many parts and too long to set up. Why not just have it in one piece and stored on the deck for under the deck. I can deal with the ramp as is but there is NO protection for the bike up front. Road grime will destroy the paint on a long haul. I under the convenience of the small single trailer and how to store it. That is very nice. But hauling a bike for 200 miles and it is going to have some dents or paint damage.

Wow , even better than others i've seen. I need this.
Sweet and sturdy trailer. Been seeing so many awful trailer designs on TH-cam. Yours is great.
Thank you Ric!
This thing changed my life.
These are great trailers....ultimate smooth ride bit it looks like a Kendon which mine is.
ship to Oregon?
What's top safe tow speed?
I drove it at 70 all day long on a 5,000 mile trip with my compact SUV.
Bookmarked your site. Nice kit!
Nice design.

I bought the Stinger that comes in capacity of just over 2,000 pounds. Easily takes a bike sitting at the 980 lb mark.
the only thing that I see that is a bit messed up is the California tag...
get the hell out while you can.
sick looking trailer, wish I had $2k to buy a trailer
Is it wide enough for a harley trike?
No.
Way overpriced big time 200 more dollars you can get a big car trailer and haul a bunch of motorcycles amongst other things
Agreed if you have a big vehical to tow it. The light weight of this trailer is a plus if you are pulling it with a CRV, or a Forester.

$2k? Naw man. I can get an 8 foot utility trailer for about $800.
Sorry we know the unit is not Not meant for everyone...
Where can you get an 8 foot utility trailer!
How much room does that utility trailer take up parked in the garage?
Quality, new and ready to go utility trailers for only $800?
What trailer manufacturer is selling these? Please let us know.
Have it made by Beijing Joe `s partners and sell it $1200.
lols
What a terrible ramp design. You can have that thing.
It's not terrible when it folds up and can be stowed away in tight spaces.
