The author really were in dark places to write this manga and the ending in such an optimistic yet depressing tone. The anime really did the manga well and this song really resonate well with people. Really hope shes doing ok on her own.
IIRC, Tsukumizu is a guy I think. But yeah, out of all the non-popular anime/manga I've seen in my lifetime, I think this deserves the most recognition. It's premise is so basic, but there's so much you can reflect off of it that makes it great

Years later and this remix is still my fav Aiobahn song, the glissando on the bass fits so damn well with the rest of the instrument
