i have bought your last book Mr.Harold, i mean that now i have all your workshop practic series, for me you are a great inspiration, I have a Chinese lathe and milling machine, they are not as fantastic as a MyFord like your, but thanks to your designs I have customized them; right now I am starting to build your Grinding rest, thank you 1000 ( we say like this in Italy), my only problem is that I don't have much time because i have 2 childrens, but what I can dedicate is so beautiful thanks to your ideas, I can't wait to get to work on your drawings !!! Greeting from Italy Mr. Harold, Alberto. :))

Hi Mr. Hall. I absolutely enjoy your videos. I am curious if you sell plans or have a book available for viewers. I would enjoy building some of your fixtures. Thank you Sir.

The plans for many of my projects are in my website, being free of charge. Others, are in one of my books, depending on what you wish to make.
If you follow the link at the end of the video, or on the TH-cam description below the video, this will take you to my website where all the details can be found.
It is a very large site so you may need to spend time getting to know it. The main links to get round the site are at the top left corner of each page.
However, should you still need help send me an email via my correspondance page on the site.

Thanks all for your comments. Unfortunately though, at 84 (2017), I now find it necessary to limit my involvement in my website and videos as the brain is not as agile as it once was.
However, should you want to contact me, use the contact page on my website, here, www.homews.co.uk/page6.html . Do please read my comments there before posting.

I'm enjoying all your videos. What type (style) and size grinding wheel are you using in this video?

Pleased to learn you are finding the vidios interestings. As to the wheels, they are all 125mm diameter with a 31.75 diameter bore. The wheel on the left side is a saucer wheel and gets very little use, outher than grinding an
end mill's flutes as the wheel needs to be on the right of the end mill. Depending on the space available the end mill flutes can be ground down the left side or the wheel on the right hand end of the grinder.
On the right side I have two wheels, a taper cup wheel for most of the sharpening tasks, the other being a 40mm wide recessed wheel, used where I need a wheel with a wide outer diameter. I do use it in place of the tapper cup wheel if it is on the grinder at the time I wish to sharpen a tool.
The wheel grades are WA60KV1, or something close depending on what is available from the supplier I use.
I am hoping to produce a video showing how a basic bench grinder was modified to take the wheels I now use.
