I saw this film twice, and I’m English not Indian nor Pakistani, and I was engrossed in the film and when it ended I wanted more!

Correction: Noori was a psychopath. He tells in one occasion, "He can't sleep unless he kills an enemy". This was very clear that he wasn't forced to be in Prison but by his own choice, just to find and fight some strong enemy. That was ever more clear when Daro asks him to get out from the Prison to save the claim to the throne and the way he gets the farewell from Jailer.
I actually felt bad for noori natts character as I could understand his reason for living and his view on combat against someone as good or better then himself.
@@TheCinderellaman10 I felt sorry for him as those who lied to him by implying that Jutt killed the only thing which kept him alive, (which was his beloved sister); and he had to die based on a lie!
It brings Punjabi at international level, the epic film, Maulla and mukko ❤and light of film much needed to stand against the pure evil Noori Natt Humza 👏gets full marks !

Good point Gurleen, even though some character accents weren’t perfect it didn’t spoil their acting 🔥 Also Noori is jailed because of his hatred for his father when he tried to kill his sister. Regarding the person that is killed, as a viewer you know that character will be killed because of his comments on Noori’s sister.

Noori Nath was in jail on his own wishes because he always thought maybe he could find a worthy fighter who would be unruly as himself in jail.
The actor playing Noori is a native punjabi speaker so he it was easier for him to deliver the dialogue!Fawad made Maula Jutt his own, and amazing,even with some comedic scenes out in! The whole cast did very well to deliver us this feast a magnum opus in Punjabi!🌹

Dialogues were written by Nasir adeeb and he also record audio files so that non punjabi actor can act accordingly
Maula jatt is actualy old punjabi film also written by nasir adeeb released in 1979, charactors and many Dialogues are taken from old maula jatt
I am from city Lucknow ( Nawabo ka Sahar ) Uttar Pradesh India. Today i thought watch pakistani movie trailers in TH-cam . That's when I got Maula Jatt's review. Then I saw his trailer. Then I watched that online movie. Though I don't know Punjabi but understood almost half of the dialogues. With a lot of attention . all over I liked the picture very much. I think this movie is very good, like our India ki Sholay movie. I want to compare it. Best Screenplay Best Acting Best Story best Direction my rating 10 /10 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏

I believe movie really picks up right before interval till end. I was shocked by that Fawad's performance... Hamza was unbelievable and humaima was marvelous. They will all learn and grow into something more. We want Maula Jatt 2

Very well explained but Noori character has habit of being in jails to find a brave opponents. His father didn't put him in prison...
When you talk about Punjabi accents kindly take this fact into consideration, that there are numerous Punjabi accents in Pakistan. For example Ali Azmat's accent is completely lahori while Natt's were bit different. So that's why you felt bit discomfort in some Actors' punjabi but trust me in Pakistan you'll find such accents very common.
True, Pakistan has all the Punjabi accents. Standard Majha dialect was spoken from the Gujrat and Gujranwala dialects
Well choreographed action is rare even in action movies these days, add good dialogues to that and you get a masterpiece like TLMJ
The Legend of Maula Jatt is a third-class movie. Pakistani actors are bad at acting.
Fun Facts: Both the protagonists, Fawad and Mahira are pure Urdu-speaking people. The director is Baluch. And many other main characters are also not Punjabi. Even then, this movie is the mega-hit that Pakistani cinema has ever produced.

@@blackwolf4819 He is Rajput i guess, just raised as a burger boy, got education in english schools hence can't speak Punjabi. He isn't from Urdu Speaking family. Mahira is from an Urdu speaking family.

the character had to be killed to show the celebration after and the whole sequence of Maula going to natts and develop story
Spoiler: Character who died- intentionally didn't revealed his identity to Noori. Its self explanatory, he was always like an elder brother to Maula, he wasnt going to let noori know that Maula isn't here as mooda was dead meat either way the moemnt Noori walked into that door. All his life he was called as the coward one, so it was basically his shining moment. Secondly, Noori was shown psychotic sadist who *liked* to be in jail, so his father didnt put him in jail, which was later confirmed when he walked out when he wanted.
Lastly absolutely agree, even as an urdu speaker myself, I was thinking the same ,Punjabi could've been so much better, specially by Daro and Mukho. Good review btw 😊

the character you talked about who was killed by noori was trying to save the pride of his friend and that was the required of the story so maula will have something to fight again natts as he said that in movie he will only stand for justice not for revenge so i don't think it wasn't over exaggerated.....over all great review

The beauty of the film is that all its sequences push the film ahead and there is no scene which is out of the place. The character Noori Natt shines very brightly, he is a perfect match for Maula Jatt. Very impressive performances from Humaima Malik and Gohar Rasheed. It's a treat to watch the grand film in a theater.

Correction at t 6:40. Noori Natt is in self imposed incarceration and not sent to jail by his father Jeeva.
Noori Natt wants to fight the biggest dirtiest and the most vicious fighters in Punjab, so he can find his match, but he is unable to.
In the film his character says:
"Sunya eh es kaid khane de wich wadey wadey soorma aunde ne" ... And then he goes on to say "Qatal hona chauna waaan " .

The only point I disagree is why noori was jailed by his father? I think it is well justified what he did to his in the end shows why he was been jailed.
It was more like how mughal kingdom or any kingdom has power hunger and father killed his son or son killed his father. So more relatable for the past events.

Some of the actors had to learn Punjabi that's why it was a little weak with a few. Hands down it's an amazing movie.
Many people commented about some actors’ weak Punjabi accent. Actually Bilal Lashari quite cleverly leveraged Fawad and Mahira’s screen chemistry to attract Non-Punjabi audience who otherwise would have ignored this as just another Punjabi movie.
@Iqbal Bakht you are right. But this movie broke the Punjabi audience barrier and has attracted a bigger non-Punjabi crowd. My own friends and family went to see this movie which they wouldn’t have gone had it been a typical Punjabi casted film.
You make a good point, I’m from in Urdu, speaking family myself, but I was born and raised in Punjab, so I would definitely go watch it regardless, but lotta Urdu speak people could likely ignore it because it’s a Punjabi media however, there will be a mistake they must watch it ❤

As a Pakistani Punjabi, I must say we are culprits of killing our Punjabi culture especially our maa boli. My children can't speak Punjabi as they should in our true dilect. No Sarson da saag and karhi and chati di lassi any more. Great initiative to revive our maan boli and culture.
