Ok... mobile players, u can also curve the ball like they do in pc.
Here's the trick:
Do the same thing as he did, BUT, theres no need of shiftlock on. Just swipe ur camera to the direction u want and the ball will curve along that direction.
Note:
If the ball is very fast, its gets harder to pull it off successfully so you need to have a fast reflex if u want to pull it of, especially in standoffs.

Something for new players is that your block distance is huge. Your sword sometimes isn't even touching the ball.
Also, if you hold block it automatically parries, you don't have the click

This actually ISN'T the most important part.
This is very crucial to your combat strategy, but it won't do much alone.
It's more important to learn how to switch around the distance between your and your target, spacing and closing together in a way that takes advantage of their reflexes and patterns.
Adding the curveball to this makes it exponentially more effective.
Movement abilities like dash, shadow step, blink, thunder dash, and such are incredibly good for this.
If done right, you can kill them near-instantly.

@@grimfadedTry first to make the ball go fast. Then close in on them, which will make them close to spamming without thinking, and then use an ability to back away quickly and counter the ball, and they wont be able to have time to hit back since the cool down is happening.

for me, i learned the second i started playing because i took into account that facing another player curves the ball to that player, so i just tried that with no one and the ball curved expectedly
you should flick instead of just turning and never predict the ball. you should use only your reaction speed unless the ball exits you field of vision incase the person delays the ball.

It has been one month since I last played blade ball. And I got 20 wins in 2 hours xd. I achieved to reach a lot of standoffs, and much win them, by watching other people play and learning from my mistakes.
*By the way, one month and a half ago it was the first time I played and I just did it for 20 mins*
U can jump + curve the ball up for a very high curve and u can trick them when the ball gets rlly fast by turning around and shooting the ball back so it takes longer to reach the player and mess them up

AY CARBON theres another way to curve the ball as well and without shiftlock and which will confuse people its like this but without shiftlock and same thing as you explained but it doesn't move the character which makes the player confused of what happened and make them off guard.

They the developers are really not nice because when I'm playing sometimes the ball goes so fast that it is still on cool down and the cool down isn't just 1 second it's literally like 3 secs
It is important that you don’t spam block when the ball gets to you because when you do that your block goes on cd because you’ve already hit the ball once, and spamming it will activate the cd

reason 1: if u want to get spins YOU HAVE TO GET IT WITH ROBUX
2: it false sells things like for example it says like this sword used to be 499 now its 399 when it was always 399 every single one.
3rd reason: PEOPLE PAYED 10K ROBUYX FOR INFINTY AND OTHER PEOPLE PAYED THOUSANDS TO TRY TO GET INFINTY OR OTHER THINGS ON THE WHEEL BUT THEY JUST GOT SCAMMED.
The ball actually doesn't go in the direction you are facing, it follows your camera.
The curve shot works for people who click very early cause the ball would take longer to reach them. I've gotten a couple wins with that if the ball isn't going too fast that it reaches them before their counter runs out.
Just wanna say it’s better to do this out of shift lock because it’s unexpected when u don’t face the way ur curving the ball
I just started playing. I have already developed a startagy. I look backwards all the time see they can see my move. I do that for a while and then making the ball go up catching them off guard.
The curve I use to is when facing backwards then block, it makes the ball go to the enemy slower. So by the time it hits the enemy, their block stops working. Unless it’s someone who blocks the ball at the last second.
U can bait their block earlier, it might not look like a lot but it’s useful sometimes. I’m glad I’m not the only one that knows this 😊

Ok so question. I see people getting really close with their weapons and spam blocking. When I do it, I can't because of that stupid 3 second cooldown. I get super close to standoff but then die because of how fast the ball is and I still have my cooldown going on. How do I even remove the cooldown because its insanely annoying.
The cooldown auto resets to zero the moment your block contacts the ball that's why they're able to spam. The cooldown only takes affect when you do it to early and contact was never made with the ball.
