please tell all of us that how to tune vocals for such singers who couldnt sings well . and ya my most important question is whenever i used to listen mix it sounds great the vocals are so soft in your case ....but in my case i tried very hard to mix my vocals it doesnt sounds well and soft .... please help
Tuning vocals will be coming soon, in terms of soft mixing try using a multi and compressed or even reducing the EQ at 3khz. It’s a very harsh frequency that might be it?

how much DB volume is important on bass and kick
U can write it in terms of dB, but in this day in age, bass and kick are as loud as vocals sometimes

The JJP vocal is a combination of eq, multiband compression, compressors, reverbs and limiters. So those knobs are setup like macros which effect a combination of those plugins to create the desired effect.

If possible just show some comparison between UAD and Waves plug-in like waves is the cheapest option i had so doing my mixing on it but what makes u choose UAD compressor over Waves for API 2500 just give some key difference between both and also if possible show some non commerical things like we can get better idea to work on underground type of things with lesser instrumentation and more vocal based things and YOU DOING GREAT JOB MAN !!! WILL SURELY WANNA WORK WITH YOU
Bro you can do amazing stuff with the stock plugins only.
The best practice is stick to what you have unless you can or want to pay for them(they're hella expensive).
Just take it as plugins vs actual hardware , you know it (hardware) sounds better , you don't even need a comparison.
Par ohhdi chori nhi ho skdi so work with what you have , waves plugins are awesome ,(I no longer use them because I hve stopped cracking plugins and using only stock plugins and free ones and I do paid mixing/mastering)
Trust me cracking plugins without need will take you nowhere.
The main difference between UAD and WAVES, is the way it responds to audio files. Waves has some GREAT plug ins that UAD would never be able to replicate, but then UAD has some plug ins that waves wouldn’t come close too. I also love soft tube, they’re amazing aswell
