OMG...it did start in 2013 when my brother died 😢 2014 my mother died and my husband was diagnosed with cancer. In 2015, my father died of a broken heart, and in 2016, my husband died from cancer. It was one thing after another. The insurance company failed to pay life insurance. I almost went in bankruptcy, being deep in debt. I dug deep, wrote a book, it went #1 internationally, and yes, there was a BOOK LAUNCH PARTY. I continued to have road blocks throen in my path. In 2012 I escaped an abusive marriage. In early 2013 it started a dark cycle of depression. I only recently over the past few weeks had the realization that it is time to forgive myself.

I have had a lot of realizations lately about some longterm relationships that have failed in the last five years due to being based on a past me. I am no longer that person and I've been trying to make these relationships fit and that has hampered the new me. So I've been letting them go in order to make way for relationships that fit with who I am now, not who I was 20 or 30 years ago. I'm stepping out of the box that others have seen me in.
I ended my 11 year toxic relationship yesterday, I could see exactly what I needed to do to leave but for some reason I couldn't let go and I was always blessed he put me through but God always made sure I had strength to recover, and now I know why. Omg yes…even though I’ve managed to always try to remain positive and hopeful, the last 11 years have been rough. Divorce, shared custody, lost home, lost job, have had to move 5 different times. Love life was either nothing and loneliness or toxic/short experiences that made the loneliness seem more appealing. Family and friends sometimes almost seemed to prefer me down and alone so I could be their back up plan or 2nd pick when their first choices/partners weren’t available or behaving. On the upside, I’m now on the way up in my career, healthy, my sons both chose me and live with me, I have a nice home, and well, hoping the next up and up is my love life.
