    Isn't it amazing how people find opportunities in places where the locals think none exists, and this happens in different places on the planet.

    • @AuthenticAfrican
      @AuthenticAfrican  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Right! It is up to us to find the opportunities and go after them instead of complaining.

      I think pretty much MOST people from the rest of the world KNOW this except in the USA 🇺🇸. Hence the relentless need to persuade folks to even consider relocating from one city to another even in the same state let alone continents, for a better opportunity or school, even for love 😜. But it’s changing. This is across the board (race, gender, education, income) - most Americans would rather stay put.

    It was because of your first video that my family and I stayed at Pearl this past November. And I would say that it was really nice. The property is across the street from Lumley beach. The beach has a very pulsing and vibrant nightlife on the weekends where the party goes on all night. And there are a number of restaurants and venues within walking distance. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

    Shoutout to the Philippines and Filipinos! They are always friendly and welcoming of African peoples, whether it be in the Philippines, America, or in Africa - I have never had a negative experience with them - if only other folks who come to our Continent to do business learned to be like them in the way they treat people!

    Sierra Leone is a nice and beautiful country where someone can easily find opportunity to get a job in the country through government or private company but it's all depends on your contact with the people in the country.

    • @Koiva232
      @Koiva232 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @12:05 Sierra Leone is ranked 5th safest in Africa(just behind Botswana) and is ranked safer than UK, USA, etc.. Barbed wires, electric fences, etc have become the norm all over Africa - regardless of the level of safety. It provides a FEELING of safety and thus everyone does it.
      With that being said, petty theft - e.g. leaving a bicycle in the yard - might get stolen for sure just like in any other places - so the fences are to keep people off the property and prevent theft more so than to prevent any violent crime.
      I honestly think they are UGLY and take away from any property.

    It's a shame to us sierra leoneans especially they diaspora.All we are interested on is about politics and sycophancy following politicians like God. We should be innovative like Ghanaians, Senegalese and Nigerians.Government will not plant rice for us to eat.what a lazy type of people we are .what a shame.

      @LetsTravellChannel ปีที่แล้ว

      There’s a huge Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 diaspora in the NYC/NJ area in the USA 🇺🇸 and they have mega churches. As a matter of fact, caught up with one of their annual convention Christian meeting held in Baltimore city, MD about a month ago. Most have little to no interest in ever going back to SL hence are preoccupied with chain (family) migration to overseas and no investment back home.

    why do you promote the businesses of people who are not black?

    • @AuthenticAfrican
      @AuthenticAfrican  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All businesses in Sierra Leone will be highlighted no matter who owns them. It's part of the Sierra leone story. That means that sometimes nonblack businesses will be highlighted because they are a part of Sierra leone.

      @@AuthenticAfrican didn’t take long for race hustlers to show up 😮! Sir or ma’am, these businesses employees and vendors majority are black 😂😂😂. They have families to feed, educate, take to hospital as no welfare or established credit card system or shelters or food banks as fall back plans. Hustling is a real thing in Africa and I am happy that other people born outside Africa are coming to open businesses and or work.
