I'm just got a pair with 50% off, it should be arriving soon. it does look like a hot shoes to wear in the summer, but it's perfect for the California winter.
Grabbed a pair myself. The eyes on the back, while I get you about not being a fan of the design, are actually the same eyes that were on the back of Corporal Hudson's uniform in Aliens, which, among with all the other amazing details on the shoes, is pretty damn cool
Hey thanks for checking out the video! Yeah I did know about the eyes after a buddy of mine, who is a HUGE ALIEN fan, told me about it. I just like symmetry, and the eyes take away from it. I love the fact that they're on shoes as an homage to Corporal Hudson though. It's like an easter egg that only true fans will know and acknowledge.
I picked up the bug stompers. The packaging and the design are awesome. I love how they look on feet too so they were a must have. Also ended up getting them for $195 shipped so that’s a plus.
Do you guys take off the dog tags or wear them? I just got mine and can't decide. I can't stand buying a shoe and not wearing them, but I won't wear them often and I'll take good care of them. The dog tags seem pretty tough, but they aren't going to be as durable as the rubber tags on stompers like the Bishop Alien Stompers. Will you guys wear them with dog tags or without?
Sorry just seeing this comment! Personally I have both the Bishop stompers and these, neither of them have been worn on a daily. I will say however I keep the dog tags on both, but the clear plastic/acrylic on these is definitely less durable. They would also probably get ruined rather quickly. I would not wear them with it just so they don’t get ruined.
So the sizing of the shoe is about a 1/2 size bigger than what you’d expect. For instance I am an 11.5 and the 11s fit perfect. The 11.5 are just slightly too big. So I would size 1/2 size down if you’re going to pick up a pair
Yeahh I also copped a pair of shoes reebok ghostbusters x stranger things "no ghosts" Those are so fire and i don't know why but i ve been missing so many beautiful reebok shoes
