  • Psychologists and criminology experts analyse the personality of Donald Gaskins Jr, the man who earned the nickname `meanest man in America' in the 1950s and 60s. The burglar-come-murder with a minuscule frame boasted about his private graveyard for victims, and was put to death in 1991 after being found guilty of nine murders, but claimed to have killed over 100.

Sorry for your horrific uncles, my wife was raised in somewhat same household, I say somewhat because the uncle sexually molested her. To make it even worse when she finally got the courage to tell her mom she blamed it on the alcohol and said he didn’t mean it. When I finally convinced her to go to the authorities (her mother wouldn’t ) they brought him in. He knew that they won’t let him get away with it he finally took his life. My wife then felt it was her fault all over again, I told her she is the strong one for exposing him, he is the coward that hurt children and when it came time to pay for his crimes he took the cowards way out. A lot of what was wrong with Pee Wee was the fact that his mom came from inbreeding and she herself also had things going on with family members and it was consensual. So he saw a lot of that and with his mom being inbred he had some mental problems as well as her. With what we know now about brain development in incest cases causes extreme uncontrollable anger in some cases they even think they heard voices telling them to kill people. He deserved to die though I know many people that he killed their family members he tried to fight my father who could have easily killed him just because my grandmother left me in her office while she walk in the connecting office she came back and Pee Wees girlfriend was holding me. My grandmother snatched me away and fired her because they knew she was dating Pee Wee so he came up there to intimidate her unfortunately for him my father had just walked in also so intimidation was over

For some reason it really seemed disturbed that she kept referring to him as "my daddy" almost like she was proud of him. And when she described the rape and murder of a baby she was completely void of any emotion. I am wondering if it is genetic and the daughter has a little psychopathy in her from her father because I dont see how you can explain all this like you are reading your shopping list.

PeeWee Gaskins was a friend of my grandmother's side of the family. He was at the age of 12 or 13 when he would come over at the house with my great uncle. 😳 My uncle and PeeWee went to the reformatory school together. He was the very first serial killer I read about at the age of 14 and I've studied them ever since. I'm 47 years old now.

@@gilt2349 To be honest, if Peewee was still around my family in his adult years they'd probably wouldn't ever find him again. My family is a protector of women and children and that wouldn't have flown too well with them. What Peewee did to a nine months pregnant woman and her two year old daughter was demonic!!

Back in the 70s, law enforcement didn't work together or communicate like they do these days. When he went cruising the Grand Strand, from Myrtle Beach to Georgetown, he would have crossed into several different counties, if a missing person's report was made in one county, the next one over probably didnt even know about it. There's no telling how many people he killed and dumped into the swamps down there. It might not be 100, but then again, considering the amount of out of towners that came to Myrtle Beach to party on the weekend during the summer, it could very well be

It is a good thing she testified against him. I grew up in the deep south and culturally can understand some of her perspectives as having seen this state of consciousness before. Perhaps she has had some therapy or medications to help her cope or somehow come to terms with some of this but wow, surely she has had a tough walk to travel.
