I did a wheelie on an empty country road at half 10 at night with nobody around and a cop saw me and gave me a 270 franc fine (probably about $300 ticket). Terrible country can’t even have fun no more 😭
Can't wait for the Asia trip. Maybe come to Bangladesh? But the traffic might be too crazy for you. Anyways never sell the DRZ but if you ever have to or it gives up on you get another DRZ and mod it. Most of us here are DRZ owners so it wouldn't be the same if you change it.

You have kids and adults communicating with you like you are one of them, and they all have the biggest smiles on their faces. It’s sooo.. great. Yeah, people should have warned you. Swiss has amazing roads and scenery but its the worst place for hooligan/supermoto life. Even having a legal aftermarket exhaust can get you in trouble if you ride past 10PM because of noise law. Swiss people are usually cool (from my experience) but they are super strict when it comes to laws.
the first thing i thought when you crossed the swiss border was "be careful man, the swiss aint fuckin around". I once ran from the popo when they caught me doing a one hand wheelie on my mountainbike. Man, that was the hardest i ever pedaled in my life. Hid behind a van 🤣 sure as hell not losing my student residency privileges for that shit😅 Another time i was flashed by a speed cam, again on my mountainbike in a 20mph speed zone, in a wheelie. (proud of that one tho) i guess they had to smirk when looking through the fotos 🤣. When driving motor vehicles i made sure to not break a single law man, the swiss are strict as hell in that regard... and expensive too
