I just got back from a trip to Disneyland. My daughter is autistic and I was a little worried about the interactions the characters would have with her. They were all perfect. At one point she got upset that she had to wait her turn to meet chip and dale. She didn't understand she was next. She thought she was going to go with the family in front of us, when I held her back she sat on the bench and quietly held back tears. Dale held his hand up to the photographer and went over to my daughter, sat next to her and began to pet her head and hug her, making my girl giggle and lifting her mood. He then signaled her to wait right behind the photographer and after posing with the family ahead of us. The two of them played with her and got her beaming again. It really is magical.
I'm not crying...you're crying...shut it Honestly this is a beautiful moment. Helps to believe in the goodness of humanity again, even when living in a jaded world.

Oswald and Mickey were actually invented by UB Iwerks, who worked for Disney at the time. Iwerks would later get into a dispute with Walt and leave to form his own cartooning company.

I've seen some videos of princesses and suit characters misbehaving with guests and sometimes even being rude to them or vice versa guest being rude to the characters but seeing these videos of characters with a lot of patience and compassion warms my heart
