Oss Katsu sensie, Peter here again. Wow, what a clean, smooth grading. I like that even a lower grade grading has some challenging moments, and i really like the concept of each sanbon kumite sequence being different, allowing smooth flowing movements and the ability to adapt/explore from a lower grade. Fantastic. Kawasoe sensie always talks about flow, movement, continuation, use the floor...i see so much of it here. And what a beautiful dojo you have sensie. Oss Katsu sensie. Kawasoe is incredible, i have had the honour of training with him from 14 years old. Shodan and Nidan under him.
But you are equally amazing 👏 as Mr Miyagi says 'different, but same'. You have many traits like him but yet you are your own person. You have a good personality, a HUGE passion for training and Karate-do, u have great ideas, fitness, and you always make time to helps others. Just like sensie, you will go far. You have changed the standards for shotokan and this is only positive my friend.

This is such a tricky kata for me at the moment. I'm struggling to find some of these movements used practically. The ones I struggle with weren't in the kumite?
I've found the previous kata easier because I understand it's application a little better.
