Considering it uses merc-renault engine and it is assembled in korea, you should be okay for many years

@Kev Pog i see only one video other than that probably when i search like renault arkana test drive or renault arkana pov test drive i cannot really see them of course there is a lot video about every car i think because of language difference i see the little clips or full reviews before them
As the proud owner of Arkana(aka Renault Samsung XM3 in Korea), its a decent car. Its boot capacity is big for its size, looks cool with LED headlights and ambient lights inside, not to mention its coupe look. However, good lord there are ALOT of downsides.
1. Accelerator response is very slow.
2. Yes, its the characteristics of a DCT transmission but when setting off from a halt, the ride is very harsh. I can easily say Hyundai's 7 speed DCT is much better.
3. The Lane Keep Assist does not keep the car in the middle of the lane. It reads the lanes well but is crap keeping the car in the middle.
4. Not sure about the European version, but since its a rebadge, Im gonna assume its the same. I HAD 4 RECALLS OVER A YEAR OF OWNERSHIP. Like honestly, it should be better than that.
5. Feels like NVH doesnt exist when cruising over 80km/h. The tire noise is well kept out but the wind noise is very loud.
Aside from these problems, its a nice car.
Woah those are a lot of downsides, I was considering the renault arkana becuase I've got a renault duster 1.5 DCI that's been going strong for 6 years and it's a wonderful car. Hearing this makes my heart sink as I love the brand and would really love to own the arkana but right now they aren't too good I guess

The LKA Lane Assistant works as you describe. It will bounce left to right. It's normal. To have lane assist with center lane control, you need an additional system, which Reanult calls EASY PILOT. Only he drives the car in the middle of the road lane.
4 recalls? That is a lot, what were the issues? Btw to that issues that you had described, I mean you cannot get anything better for that money. Hyundai is plasticy as hell on the other side...
@@str8xrippin - My three year old Duster has 42,000 miles on the clock, and I've been offered a great trade in price against a new Arkana RS Line. My Valencia Orange 1.6 hybrid auto is on order .. It will be a great buy .. :-)

I just wondering to buy next model 2022 with recondition from this test car 2021
Why would it be a test car? It has very reliable engine TCe 140 and 160 used by mercedes too and materials are very nice. What are the issues with it? Are we talking about european version assembled in Korea or?
