@@Fred316-i1f Ingles is a good pick n roll handler and can still shoot, he is a bit slow footed though and his height doesn't seem to be much of an impact (6'8 but slow and not really a rim presence). He's probably just not what australia needs as they already have a lot of shooting plus quickness.

I believe this is one of the better spaced teams in the patty mills era of boomers, probably one of their best overall teams period. If you follow FIBA long enough you LL know what I mean.
He lacks the physical talent and all-roundness to be a star player in the NBA, but he has crazy fundamentals which makes him fill in his roles perfectly. This is exactly what FIBA needs, where team basketball is prioritized.
It's not that they made a mistake. He improved yes. But you see how good he is with the ball in his hands. That wasn't going to happen in OKC. He's had some nice shooting but he's no MPJ or Klay, Hield, Korver etc.

Good game. You can really tell the NBA players by their confidence and consistency. Both teams were a little lax in defense on the perimeter. Australia was slightly better in on ball defense, with more steals France will be a problem but they need a quicker guard than Batum to guard Patty Mills.
