    3. Emergency Fund Acct
    4. Sinking Fund Acct
    5. Personal Spending/Variable Spending Acct (groceries, personal grooming,etc...)
    6. Rent Payment Acct- bcz in the past I would be late on my rent so now I have my employer direct deposit a weekly amount so by months end I have my rent money ready...I did this at another bank so I wouldn't touch it...

Love the idea of the rent account and setting up a direct deposit!

While you are opening a business account, you should also form an LLC which will separate business liabilities from personal liabilities.

I have a Vacation Account, anniversary savings, main Sinking fund account, bill account, home maintenance account, er savings, personal checking account. Now I feel like I need a business account too! I don’t keep all my eggs in one basket. As y’all can tell I like baskets!🤣 This was such a great Video!

We have a Debt Snowball and a Safety Net or overdraft acct. Good tips. I also have the Cap One 360 acct. I will use the idea of a small percentage of our income feeding that acct. We have met the small emergency fund amt of $1,000 but need to build on that. Thanks for your practical content.

I also have a vacation/trip account where I add money for future trips. I only add to this after all other accounts have been increased. This has been really helpful the last two years. I like that you have a small emergency fund account that seems attainable for me. Thank you!

Great video! My husband and I are trying to start saving for a house this year and these accounts will really help us organize our money.
I’m also interested in starting a savings account for my son. What and where do you recommend I start? Maybe a video in the near future 😉🤞🏼

What do u suggest when one is trying to buil one month ahead, must be in an emergency account or separate account

    • @TheOrganizedMoney

I would suggest to keep it in a separate account. We currently have a Long Term Savings and Short Term Savings. Our month ahead is in our short term savings account.
