- Hi everyone! In this video we talk about Wardrobe design, this is from our recently completed site in Nerul Navi Mumbai. What's special about this wardrobe is that it has Aluminum Profile Shutters with transparent tinted glass.
This wardrobe is designed for a first year Architecture student, a 19 year old boy!
Let's talk about Costing & Details-
1. Wardrobe cost 1800-2100 per sq ft depending on the hardware.
2. Laminate is from Royale Touche
3. Aluminium profile 1" section finished in Matte Black power coating
4. Lighting LED profile light 8mm

Once you switch off inside light it will be almost opeque

I liked the one thing you told about keeping half space open for hanging clothes and rest in drawers ready to maintain🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Nice video. One small suggestion as a cinematographer, next time use CPL filter on Camera when you shoot glass or reflective interior furniture. That filter cut down the reflection, so your videographers reflection will not appear on that glass.
I was sooo overjoyed watching you Wardrobe planning videos Nihara... Can't describe. It's not that m planning my house renovation anytime soon but its on list for near future and what I can say is very few, very very few have posted videos abt wardrobe designs or function with majority of them being videos feasible for people living out of India. Amongst that having your video, who is expert in her field for designs in India is just spectacular... In absolute love with ur designs and satisfying customer needs. Just love them... *Main 13 saal ki age se cooking kar raha hu, masterchef mera sbse favorite show tha and then maine thaan lia tha ki mujhe Chef hi banna hai but mere ghrwale kehte the... Bawarchi ban ke kuch nahi kr paoge wo chahte the main bhi engineering karu apne bade bhai ki trah... But mere bade bhai ne mujhe samjhaya and usi ne mujhe suggest kia ki apni skill dikhana hai to abhi se start ho jaao... It is bold concept /idea of transparent wardrobe...
One more thing LED strip in the backdrop though looks good and attractive in this empty wardrobe.. it won't be practical / useful when it is filled... it would have light effect of old style refrigerator.. instead of that three side LED strip would be more useful.

These wardrobe look attractive but not practical.
1. They should be always clean and tidy
2. If clothes are not arranged properly, whole room looks messy.
3. Cleaning will always be done by helper in this house. Not good to show off your personal stuff.
4. If any guests comes in, every thing is visible to him too. His concentration will be diverted by the stuff in the wardrobe
These are visible only during night when the lights are on, nothing inside is visible during day light..
ha ha ha..... choose style or practicality.....

The wardrobe is very different from what you normally see... glass panels look attractive but I would suggest an opaque look rather than totally transparent...privacy of the clothes that you use, should b maintained.....unless of course you have too many designer clothes to show off 😉😉😉😉

This is First video where I found about aluminium profile shutters..Information was insufficient about drawers and about aluminium profile dimension and costing..Over all it was like someone has some ideas that relived me ..Can you please detail the Aluminium Gaze And Thickness and its cost ..and how much would it cost for same profile with sliding mechanism ..can we implement it ??

I have a question...I have done strip lighting behind my TV for ambience but after turning it on in matter of seconds it starts to Flicker...I have asked the solution to electrician and they said change the adapter...but after changing the adapter it is still flickering, what can I do?

What is the width of this entire wardrobe? And width of study unit?
It's around 8 feet by 7 feet (length is to width)

Can I ask if you can see through the closet if you turn off the LED lights in the closet? Wouldn’t a clear glass door be a better option for closet compared to a tinted/black out glass door? May I know the reason why you chose tinted/blackout as opposed to a clear glass door? Thank you!

Good wardrobe design.
Sometimes if the clothes are not arranged properly in wardrobe it can give a messy look although the wardrobe as such is beautifully made. You may consider elegant curtains to shadow the main wardrobe as an option.
You did say that you will share details on cost but didnt mention in this video..
Next time please share information on the brand name of fittings used wood material (plywood/MDF / HD HMR material) shutter material . Typical cost of such unit and Year of manufacture to get an idea to viewers.

Mujhe ak help chaiye...kaya app bata sakte ho acrylic sheet ko cutting karne ke liye aur finising dene ke liya kaya use karna chaiye? Aur acrylic sheet wooden plyboard me paste karne ke liye konsi glue use karna chaiye?

Too good, we can use opaque glass also as doors. What is the thickness of glass doors and shelves, plz tell. Regards
We can use frosted glass.
But avoid opaque /mirror/backpainted glass as it is very easy to forget it is a glass shutter and as there is no back ply supporting the glass, one may put weight and lean on it which is risky.
