- Paducah (/pəˈduːkə/) is a home rule-class city in and the county seat of McCracken County, Kentucky, United States. The largest city in the Jackson Purchase region, it is located at the confluence of the Tennessee and the Ohio rivers, halfway between St. Louis, Missouri, to the northwest and Nashville, Tennessee, to the southeast. The population was 24,865 in 2019, down slightly from 25,024 during the 2010 U.S. Census. Twenty blocks of the city's downtown have been designated as a historic district and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Paducah is the hub of its micropolitan area, which includes McCracken, Ballard and Livingston counties in Kentucky and Massac County in Illinois.

My grandpa was from Paducah. He was born there 31 Jan 1900, He had 9 brothers and sisters. I have always longed to see Paducah.

As a child visiting my Father and other family members I was in Paducah all throughout the 80’s. My grandparents lived on Mt Olivet Rd and the last place my Father lived was on Key Street. I remember walking around the mall. I remember going to a small video store renting movies. I remember going to a church that was close to or on Mt Olivet Rd. I remember seeing big containers with the 76 logo on them I think. My Grandfather was an embalmer at a funeral home there for a long time. My father was a drug and alcohol counselor. I haven’t been to Paducah since my Fathers funeral in 1994 but will go back again one day. I miss this place. I believe I have family here and from Murray going back generations. I live in Arizona. But I go to Paducah and Love this town. Great people and lots of good eating. My Nanny was from Kentucky. So Try to learn and experience more of Kentucky.

My home town @ 13:18 in the video is North 8th street. To the left on said street is the house; although torn down now is where I grew up. I love Paducah Kentucky.
