That sure looks like San Geronimo, where I used to fly about 50% of the time in my DTA Voyager (with the Rotax 582, my favorite engine). I've known Larry for many years; he is one of a kind in the trike design world in our day. He has designed the four finest trikes in the world, in my view, each for its own mission profile. When I had the money a few years ago, I was ready to go Part 103 with the REV, but I didn't like the little Italian engine (or the Kawasaki he had on the first few), and I was always concerned about the main gear axles just drilled through a bent tube. For many months, I bugged Larry to consider building a REV with a 582 and beefing up the main gear axle connection; maybe making some Velcro saddlebags...he'd have a 'Super-REV'. Well, he listened...plus made dozens of additional upgrades and a new wing, to give us the REV-X. Quite a guy, that Larry. When people say I'm nuts for flying trikes, I say..."No...THIS guy is nuts"... th-cam.com/video/taH18-x9J4g/w-d-xo.html Dre, I live up in Boerne. When I get the new Rev-X, I'll look you up. It may be a while; saving my pennies...
Hey Amphicyton, cool that you were one of the contributors to the RevX design! Definitely very beefed up now, wish it had saddlebags but I'm sure I could makeshift something for short XC hops. Haha don't know why that guy there is re-inventing the wheel there with that wooden bird wing. Sadly I'll be moving in July but if you want to come check out the RevX sometime let me know!
Such a nice video!
Thank you for using mu track!))))
Thanks Infraction!
Nice machine. Let the fun begin.
Absolutely awesome!!! Wish those things weren't so gosh awful expensive!!!
This happens to be the most expensive one seat trike Sym, there are many other great flying ones for much cheaper!
Excellent video, now that’s the kind of trike flying I remember. We would sometimes even land in people’s yards out in the country...
Thanks Kent, awesome I'd like to start doing that if I can find someone with a big enough yard!

♥️♥️♥️♥️
can you fly in the middle of a hot day or are the thermals too much? thanks for the video's great quality
Not sure if this answers your question, but it might help: th-cam.com/video/QEfLodyQ7Z4/w-d-xo.html
Whats the fuel burn/range on your setup?
That 582 with that wing...I'd say should run about 2:15 or more, but you'd need to leave some reserve.
2-3 gph, 10 gallon tank, cruise 40-58mph
@@flightdoctordre7429 do you fold the wing up after use or keep it fully assembled in a hangar?
@@codmott286 I keep it fully assembled in hanger but I have a trailer for quick fold up and transport
