Forecast High Winds and Continuous rain called for a contingency plan for this Wild Camp. A scout along the banks of one of the nicest bodies of water in the Lake District to find a brilliant clearing in a patch of woodland. All this resulting in a highly atmospheric and wet overnighter in a very quiet part of the Lake District.

Yeah. I do think there is a certain allure to being in the clag myself, I dont mind it, but not enough to carry a massive bag 800metres up 🤣

Haha, I'm still getting used to talking to a cam, let alone saying hi to it. 🤣 I like that kind of weather, especially when you have the retreat of a tent. The Hilleberg is great. It's worth the money in my opinion, not that you need one in that sort of weather, of course. Thanks for the comment.

They hold their price really well if you ever wana see it again. I prefer cooler weather myself. Keep the midges at bay. And the tent isnt an oven
