If it is during summer, I would always fish with Roman Moser's balloon caddis, killer fly for grayling even when there's absolutely no fish rising to the surface! But grayling are very picky ;-)
First part of this video reminds me of the 80ties, fishing/standing between big groups of graylings. River Kyll, Usch-Zendscheid. Before the black pest ( Cormorants) entered Europe..

I think cormorants have no chance at Ribnik, as it is a privately-held water. So I suppose they are being taken care off 😂.
