What is the COMMON purpose of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Baha'i & African & Native American spiritual practices? I feel that an answer to that question will place the story of Jonah in a helpful perspective.
Maybe Jonah was trying to get out of proximity so GOD could use someone else. Apparently no one else was around to be used or GOD mercies kept Jonah....
He was in the belly of the whale that’s what JESUS said . Our LORD Identified the creature HE ordered centuries before HE walked this earth a whale KJV, the only authentic version
