    Great review! Just missed the premiere, dammit. I agree, it looks like they should have picked CG or practical and stuck with only one approach. I love occasional appearances of Dr. Loomis - he's like your one-man Greek Chorus.

    Love this wacky movie, definitely treasure. The 2001 sequel Spiders 2 is watchable too, not as good as this but it's fine but more in the so bad it's good kind of trashy way. By the way, the 'alien' language the two oddballs are speaking when interviewed in Parilla's office is actually Danish. Incidentally, Crocodile 2 (2002) is a surprisingly decent effort with some nice effects though quite a silly affair and on the trashy side it's still good fun, do check that one out sometime.

    I watched this ages ago and seem to remember having some good old fashioned B movie fun with it (commenting before you decide on trash or treasure). Great Prince of Darkness homage as well guys.

    I REALLY wish I could hang out, drink, and watch old B movies with these guys for a weekend!! That would be FUN AS HELL I imagine!! I don't know,, I guess it's a "movie nerd" thing... lol

I think it'd be AWESOME (and well worth the trip) to sit around, have a couple of drinks, and go over a bunch of great older B movies (that most of the general public doesn't even know exist)! I'm a big fan of you guys, as well as a big fan of most of the movies you guys review! Y'all remind me of the vibe that was felt with a lot of my closest friends growing up. Where we were always huge nerds of cinema, as well as a lot of the older video games in that era (of the 80's & early 90's). Thanks for all the great content fellas!! It TRULY IS a "stress release valve" after a rough day of putting up with all the bull$#it at work! I wish you guys nothing but the best, and I hope you have an awesome weekend!!👍💯

    Yeah, this looks kind of fun for sure. There is something about horror films from this era with this style that is just charming to me for some reason. I was working at Blockbuster when this came out and films like these were released every week it seemed, really brings me back. Fun review!
