I don't know how I missed the tour dates until now, but you're actually going to be in my area! I'm less than an hour from Des Moines. I'm stoked because relatively few good bands come there, so I usually have to drive 3+hrs to see the bands I like. Just bought my VIP ticket; see you there!
Thanks for the memories and awesome performances 👏👏👏👏👏
The first time I ever heard this young lady sing was at a youth wrestling tournament in her hometown when she was probably about 12. She sang the National Anthem and did an incredible job. I was coaching at the time as was her father. I went to him right after and told him that I was amazed at how well she sang. I casually followed her and the bands she was in and was kept updated by her dad when we would see each other during wrestling season. Really nice seeing how far this group of young adults have taken this.
I'm a 66-year-old lawyer from Houston. I first heard "Baba O'Riley" on a quadrophonic eight-track tape, released along with the original LP in 1971 when I was in high school. It blew my mind.
Fast-forward to December 1982: By an amazing coincidence my firm was hired, and I was assigned, to represent The Who in connection with their appearances at the Cotton Bowl and Astrodome as part of their world tour. On their behalf, I got a court order before the show authorizing our security guards to seize the counterfeit merch (tee-shirts and posters mostly) outside the stadium grounds. My fee included two backstage passes. But I did the right thing: I gave them to my hardworking secretary (and enjoyed her loyalty ever after).
Of course they played Baba O'Riley that night. Watching your cover -- which I adore! creative! respectful! - almost makes up for my missing that performance. I can no longer speak for my client, but as one of many former lawyers for The Who, I salute you, First to Eleven!
I, too, am 66. 1971...kinda hazy.
And I'm 77 and also have this but on Quadraphonic vinyl.
Probably worth a bit now I guess. 🤔
I heard it on record vinyl in Houston
Easily one of the greatest rock songs of all-time. Glad to hear the kids respecting the greats of rock music. Well done!!!
Aye thats me right there... you might be asking how did I get here?
Well... lets go back to when it all started...
I was looking for exactly that comment😂
This is what I hear every time this song comes on 😂
I wondered why it was so familiar 🤣
huh
@@Corvin152 😂 same here ....and writing this message in back of an uber at 2 in the night in Mumbai, india and completly sozzled on a bottle of bowmore 10yo
WOW! incredible cover of one of the top 10 greatest rock songs of all time.
I was hooked from the opening note❤❤❤
YES!!!!! So glad y'all finally did this cover! One of my favorite songs of all time. My favorite part was the harmonizing during the bridge! Thanks for this! Rock on!
CSI New York 😢, dam the memories 🤗
ohh man, that show was fire, i remeber watching with my old man
It was also on House M.D.
Almost Famous for me...
The girl next door :)
You mean Lifehouse, right? :p
This is the real meaning of make covers. Plus the permanent Audra´s smile.
I've been waiting for you guys to do a cover of this song for so long, finally it's here!! I love how y'all always add your own touch to these covers ✨✨
Superb cover. Clean, nice touch and pitch, 10/10 dimples.
OUT HERE IN THE FIEELDS
Whoever animated the opening 10/10 fantastic job!
You guys are the best cover band, keep the amazing work! Congrats!
The musicians of F211 are incredible! Great job on this cover!!!!
Even though it's an old song, it's fun if you play First To Eleven, especially if Audra sings it, it's really cool.
13 years ago my grandpa died and this was playing at his funeral i was 8 at the time it was my first funeral i attended. This song is so important to me thank you for making so good cover
May he rest in peace knowing his grandson is continuing his legacy. 😢
Very nice! I love the way your work spans so many different eras and genres of music.
I love the way you made use of the ultra-long opener to debut a motion graphic logo. Inspired little detail.
Great cover choice to let each of the band members really shine
Whooo! Fantastic job, what an iconic song.
An amazing rendition of one of my all-time favorite songs!
More Who, please!
The band's always great and Audra just kills it. Those harmonies too! Big smiles and thunderous applause!
Our Audra is all growed-up now! :)
Yeah, and it's amazing how many genres she can sing successfully.
This has to be in the top ten of your covers. Wonderfully brilliant guitar and drum work. Obviously Audra beautiful as usual.
Another great cover. As always, you all rock!!
One of the greatest songs ever... and a cover which does it justice. RIP Keith and Ox.
This cover is absolutely amazing! Unlike any other! I know it’s crude, but you guys should give a tribute to the tribute of the greatest song in the world by Tenacious D next! 🎸
Would that be a tribute to a tribute to the greatest song in the world?
Love the drums on this one. One of my favorite bands/songs, and you nailed it.
Wow Amazing! The Who Would be proud of this cover!
Caramba! Que máximo! Vocês acertaram em cheio neste cover! Amo esta música, tudo perfeito! Vocal indiscutível, instrumental nota 10. Este foi de arrepiar!!! Nota 10!
I LOVE YOU GUYS FOR EVER!! New logo is brilliant!! THIS IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES! YOU GUYS SLAYED!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Keep being amazing!!! LOOCHI! 😎🤘🤘🤘
Another great cover! Audra your voice was made for this song!
This is awesome! Great work.
My fav Who track - and this just rocked! Great credit to the drummer and bassist for the job they do! Rock on!
The coolest thing about this cover is it pays homage to the original while keeping it fresh. For example the singer's movements in the intro kinda remind you of Daltrey's marching. The vocals are sung with just enough rock and roll attitude yet with a feminine softness and the harmonies breathe life into it. The drums are aggressive yet with a modern polish. And the guitar and bass just sound great, nothing really to say there. And when that last chorus "teenage wasteland" came in it sounded like it could totally work as an Avril Lavigne or Taylor Swift hit, it made me hear it in a totally new context.
I normally see a First to Eleven vid title and think "That's not going to work" and that myth ends about 45 seconds later with me already planning on watching it about 15 times before I get back to being productive. You guys smashed it out the park.
One of the best intros in music. Outstanding cover.
Great choice by such a talented young band! Look forward to see you live in St Louis
This song is just so wonderful. And your cover is beautiful, as usual. Keep it rocking🤘
omg yall killed it , another great one for the history books....
Excellent cover! I may be a bit biased because I love this song, but I think this is one of your best covers yet!
Haven't commented in a while, and don't know if you've done it yet, but for playing covers live You Better You Bet is one of the great songs, everyone in the place knows what to scream out :)
I just found you guys looking for a "Jar of Hearts" cover (which was was amazing, by the way). You guys ROCK!! And homegirl's got some serious pipes! Keep being awesome!
Superbe interprétation d'Audra, très belle prestation de F211, bravo à tous 👏🤩
Audra, BEAUTIFUL tone in this one!!
Sounds great..
It's awesome
Bravo! Such a kick-ass, righteous cover.
This song takes me right back to my youth ... very admirably covered indeed. It's one of my all-time favorite Who tracks, right up there next to "Won't Get Fooled Again" ❣️ Thanks so much for sharing!
Always a favorite Who song, like most people who only heard it on the radio thought it was called "Teenage Wasteland" You guys killed it, I ❤your version too!
Oh good, it wasn't just me.
@@derekquigley5816 there were two of us... 😂
My favourite Who track covered by a band who I've really go into - and on a day when I really needed cheering up. Thanks guys! 😊
Stellar cover ! Bravo First To Eleven ! Phenomenal vocal parts by Audra.
I think she should sing "hurricane" by the band of heathens. She would sound phenomenal, covering that!!!
Great job as usual guys and Audra! The special effects at the intro were really awsome! Well done. I really enjoyed this cover and I have not heard this song in awhile, brings back good memories!
You guys can do covers on other CSI intro songs like "We won't get fooled again" and "Who are you" , other songs by the same band, The Who
I know I say this time and time again, but you guys continually blow me away with the quality of the covers you produce. This one is one of my all time favourite songs from The Who, and this cover has taken that song and elevated it to another level!
Awesome work as always, keep it going!! 😁
Thanks I needed this today.
I always remember this from concerts/ live, and you captured it . Well done well done and you added your own flare
Singer is getting more beautiful as she grows up.
Good job
Wow, this is good :) I grew up with The Who, and this one may be up amongst the best covers, you've ever done!
Edit: DAYUM, this is awesome!! :D
I always think of CSI NY when I hear this song. How does this band do all of these covers so well? Such wonderful talent. 👏👏👏
Not only an amazing song, but that title card opening made me think of Tron. So this is just hitting on so many fronts. Rock on y'all!
Man them guitars sounded thick and moar Audra harmonies!! SOOO much more pleasing than what the neighbors were blasting just a while ago.
At last, we're getting another cover of a great song that actually deserves a cover.
I missed the classic rock covers so much. Loved it. More please!
Well, it is an honor for everyone to be covered by you!😊
Absolutely phenomenal....! ❤
I LOVE the extended, dramatic, visual intro.
Until this moment, I personally believed that "Baba O'Riley" by The Who could not be sung by a woman because the song is perfect with Roger Daltrey's voice. I've listened to a lot of cover versions with female singers that I didn't like. But you covered the song extremely well. You gave this classic of rock history your own stamp by adding a bit of "hardness" to the guitar, bass and drums and also mixing the whole arrangement very well. Chapeau! And thank you very much for this musical experience!
Great job F211 I actually saw the WHO in concert and they did that song. Rodger Daltrey would swing his mic way up there in the air and the catch it. He never missed it. The WHO would be proud of you all.
Stellar rendition, no doubt about it. And I loved that intro, more than I can put to paper!
O my younger cousins, you have made an old man proud.:)
Superb & sensational. Best cover of this song I have ever heard.
Amazing performance all of you!!👏🏽👏🏽❤️❤️🎤🎤🎸🎸🥁🥁🎶🎶🥰🥰
This is my favorite Who song and you all knocked it out of the park!
Merci de France, you are so amazing❤
Que capricho!!! Nota 10. Da música ao clipe. Parabéns pessoal. Como eu queria uma banda assim no Brasil.
This is so good!! When that guitar comes in.....Wow....great arrangement as always!!
It's wonderful to hear a female vocalist tackle this amazing song, which gives it an excitingly different flavor. Well done! The video's swaying camerawork feels amateurishly repetitive, but luckily the music stands on its own.
Such a classic song, I've only ever heard it twice, the remix from NFS most wanted 2012 and in the free guy trailer.
LOVE the new intro! It's so cool!
Absolutely fantastic 🎉❤ What an amazing cover.
This is not a song I expected to hear you guys cover, but I am so here for it. Great job.
Luved it because it's my favorite band. I suggest Wont Get Fooled Again. Another Tricky Day a deeper cut but a great song.
Hell yeah. Amazing cover - you guys are at your best when you guys put your spin on classic rock. Bravo!
Awesome Audra ❤
what a great cover, the young lady nailed it and not going over the top like some bands cover songs!
Great cover of the Who guys, and Audra brings the Magic !!!! 💯💯👍👍❤❤
Great job!
Loved your rendition!
And now I know the real name of the song lol
Ooo! Need to listen with the Dolby surround effect.
Before I listened in, I was intending writing something like I preferred Nirvana’s version. But I really enjoyed the way you and your group put the song across. Well done 👏
Love the new intro and the cover!
GREAT COVER, perfectly done! and also nice logo animation!
Great song, great cover 👏🏻
I continue to be astonished by F211 ever growing ability! Audra is wonderful upfront but the bands' instruments get better and more professional just as fast. The way you continue to grow with more and more covers in various genres is so so impressive.
Is that Trevor on Bass!!! Audra you were Perfection!! Standing Ovation to All!!!
Wow. Yall KILLED that. Woah. Perfect.
You guys never miss! Can't wait to see you on tour!
😮😮😮 Iove CSI NY and this cover is absolute fire 🦋🦋
My request for one of the next covers is anything by the Pretenders - Back on the Chain Gang, Brass in Pocket, Message of Love are a few ideas!
That was really good! I feel like I caught a slightly country vibe to it, which if it was deliberate works.
Sounds great!
