Mr Ward, let me tell you something, I totally agree with you. Just living in our pain as black people, never finding peace and holding on to things that happened to us in the past . This is keeping us in the pain and forgiveness is the answer. Looking to God for validation is enough. We don't need validation from other groups. God loves us.
Amen God bless you brother. I have you in prayer. I have the African American people in prayer. May the black community rise up and become fruitful and lead America back to Jesus trough repentance, forgiveness and love.
God bless you. You are among my most favorite pastors on TH-cam.
As a Puerto Rican I feel the same way. I used to feel like I didn’t belong anywhere. Then Pastor Mark and focal point church led me to Christ and i was no longer an orphaned spirit. Praise God for this ministry!
Come on Pastor James...This is soooo goood...I didn’t know who I was until I received Christ in my life. When that happened, I had everything that I needed...I no longer felt inferior...I had the ability to be comfortable in my own skin...I knew that no one owed me anything...& having children @ the time, I was more concerned with breaking generational curses & finding out about my parents & grandparents to see where things were coming from & how to stop them...I am zero victim & teaching my children the same...God Bless You, Miss Sharon, your children, family & ministry...May He give you guys the strength to press in & on during these times...❤️🙏🏽😇
Look ,when my father died ww2 vet .I knew that I need God to see me thru this lyfe.i didn't hav time to wory about what race or creed, action is what God wants from u.
Wow
@@stevenlight5006 Brother this is what they want to stay in emotional State, this is what they want you to do, and pray, and yes it good but watch what happens when we Wake up and come back to our Nationality, this is what we are missing, Black or not a Nationality....and now we even got people from the motherland saying BLACK When before the would say where they were from.... Ethiopian, Kenyan , South African BLACK IS NOT A PLACE.....THIS IS WHAT WE ARE MUSSING MY BROTHER
Powerful!! Praying with you! Lord, hear Brother James cry! Use him to lead revival in black America! For your Glory!! Heal our land Lord! We’re desperate for You!
We need more pastors to step up and talk about our freedom in Christ and be healed from a victim mentality so that fruit can come forth and we are a people that brings and represent the kingdom of God in This world
America needs you.
No, we don't .. We already had over 200 years of this BS ! rhetoric.
I just found out about you from speaking with Dr Phil. You are SPOT on. Thank you for your intelligence and faithfulness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm SOooooo glad I found you!!!! Ty God bless you sir. 🙏🏼
As a musician I can say that the “African American” culture has already blessed the world. The music of your culture, through the church has literally changed the face of pop music. Music is understood internationally. When it is dedicated to God it is blessed and changes everything.
There's definitely musical talent but rap has the most degenerate ideas come through it and is the #1 popular genre of music...
thebullybuffalo not all hip hop is like that. You must only listen to hardcore gangster rap shit . Please don’t speak on it if you dont know what it is or any true hip hop artists
thebullybuffalo there is much more to hip hop than that. I used to be biased against the genre too, but now I love it because I listen to artists who spread important and positive messages. I found I don’t like top 40 mumble rap/trap, but love artists like Logic, Chance the Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, etc. Please don’t generalize an entire genre/culture if you don’t know much about it. There are many types of hip hop; not all hip hop artists talk about women derogatively or promote violence or other harms. And many hip hop artists have apologized for past negative attitudes towards women. Also, taking gangster rap songs at face value and writing them off entirely is misguided. I strongly urge you to learn more about the genre, because there is a lot of valuable things in it. Knowledge is power, but ignorance divides and closes doors. Thank you.
@@epictubegamer you must not listen to rap period.... who are the most popular rappers? Minaj, cardi B, drake, travis scott, lil pump, tekashi 69, asap rocky, kanye west (who used to rap about a "quick fuck" until he went full jesus mode).... do you have any idea what 90% of rap is?
GOD BLESS PASTOR I AM REALLY APPRECIATE HOW MUCH YOU ARE. HELPING US IN THOSE DIFFICULT TIMES WE LIVING RIGHT NOW. I WANT TO LET.YOU KNOW I AM PRAYING ASK THE LORD TO HEELING AND POURING HIS LOVE TO EVERYONE MY HEART IS BROKEN SEE WHAT'S GOING ON IN ARE COUNTRY RIGHT NOW. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS
For black americans to see/operate in true identity, this message is what has to be embraced. Child of god first, as Pastor James said; as we are spiritual beings, giving a soul, housed/contained in a body. Then ethnicity is recognized, as we do live in this world. However to get past the injustices, pain, sufferings, afflictions, opressions, distresses and more that have occurred to black americans, forgiveness through the love of Jesus Chris is the way. Stephen forgave them that were literally stoning him to death, our lord and savior forgave us all for all eternity for our transgressions...why wouldn't we do the same? You can't be successful if you see yourself as a victim, not won't, you can't. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
I am so thankful that God led me to your videos. This is a much needed message for the black community! I feel that black people will never be able to heal emotionally nor mentally from the decades of injustices until they are delivered and freed from a victim mentality!
Love always gives! Powerful and timely message. From mayhem to blessing! Standing in agreement with you Pastor James. #zerovictim
What a powerful, beautiful vision and message!!

Lord send a revival to the Black community
Give em reperations
I found this video through an advertisement, and while I am not Christian, I thought you had some very insightful and important things to say. I think most people of faith are good people- it sucks that hateful and exclusionary Christians in America give Christians in general a bad rap.
Much Love. ❤️
Thank you.
Thank you and praying the Lord expand your influence!!
Such a powerful message. Learned of you through listening to Dr. Phil’s book We’ve Got Issues.
Looking to read your book Zero Victim next.
Excited to hear the full story.
Praying with and for you and for all God's children. Heaven is our only hope and the only solution to what ails us.
Thank you for sharing this message has bless me now I know my purpose to walk in Love and forgiveness 🙏🏿 ❤️
I've been many places in the world and they called me "American" more than anything else. They didn't say "African American."
Oh wow!!! Amen! Amen! Amen! For weeks / months I have been feeling a strong sense the healing of America’s racial problems will be healed by & through Black Americans ! I am a follower of Christ grew up in Sudan came to USA 1965. How can I support you pastor ?!? we live in Denver Colorado - any way I can connect with your ministry ?
This is the ANSWER
God isn't just on the side of black people. He's here for all of us, his believers, and we will keep marching in without nothing stopping us as long as his glory is in our vision. God bless.

To everyone here, what Nation , land Mass do BLACK people come from......do yourself a good deed and look up the word BLACK and see if that is you. Know your Nationality...look up the MOORS and the Treaty of Peace and Friendship 1787..

Hs said friends 11 times in the first minute.
Why do we refer to each other by the color of our skin????? Can we not just say a vision for American's????
I don’t think you watched the whole video if you’re leaving this comment.
We didn't create this system.

No, we do have a history here, we need to do our homework and read it's there in plain site but let's start calling ourselves BLACK.......
I mean let's stop calling ourselves BLACK....Where is that Nation?
Bro. What you say, we been doing that for years, praying and forgiving others......same things but you say let's do more of the same things.......
Almost like its meant to get you to shut up to the problems in our system, put some kind of "faith" behind it as if thats whats gonna make it all better, as if its not people coming together under a common struggle thats contributed to change in the world. Hate it when they try to use religion like this in a perverse way. Its just a psychological tool of manipulation and deceit.
@@SSelkie3 you don't get it.
Agree, Did you miss the civil rights movement James...Yes, I believe in forgiveness but it seems you're trying to forget what our ancestors and civil rights leaders and those of us who are African American, because of our ancestors being shipped here and sold on the market like animals, but died for this country...We have a home as Negro, Blacks, African Americans...we built this country..paid for with sweat, tears and BLOOD AND DEAD BODIES.
This man just can’t stop saying friends. It’s sweet and kind of annoying at the same time
I counted 11 times in the first minute of the video
Sir , stop whining! Ugh! Nitpickers always look past the substance of the message to find a quarrel with a quote. You can easily log off. Furthermore, you don't get to tell or control another person's words, how they should use or not use a word [ as much...] to cater to your pettiness. Friend, if you don't like it... hit that unfollow button and keep scrolling. [ it's really that simple]. Have a blessed day...
@@brendanmcpike184 wait what? You counted how many times he said , "friend", instead of actually paying attention to the message....? Smh. You know, i usually Ignore spectators with selective hearing skills. But your shallowness, takes the last piece of cake.😂
Ok
That's great do they call themselves BLACK
So basically empower minorities by telling them to never acknowledge the blatant injustices in the system that disadvantage them and marginalize them in proportion to other groups. And then cover it all up with a light religious tone. You know, god tells us that justice is as much a part of his word as personal responsibility. If youre willing to graze over injustice to make your own way, youre only doing half of what you say you are.
Jason Alexander, maybe you haven’t read how God wants us to turn the other cheek? Or, “Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated?” Or, “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.” Also, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” These are addressing different circumstances, but there’s a common theme of not taking vengeance.
Yes, “God loves righteousness and justice”, He also states: “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. So it’s not covering it all up the way you stated, but rather trusting that God’s got it covered and entrusting our lives to Him, just as it states that Jesus Himself did, “who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;” He’s our example!
“For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps”. In fact, this is what we are called to do.
What? You see, your comment and reprobate mentality confirms exactly why we need ministries like James Ward speaking God's truth, that will uproot & shake up the normal status and divisive tactics or rhetoric. We need leaders who will be bold to confront our bitterness, hatred, the carnal mental chains, or bondages that has held many [ including you] hostage to unhealed wounds of the past, shallow thinking, ungodly soul ties, victimization, self marginalization, & self sabotage with sound doctrine, wisdom, boldness, and God's Love.
Stop pointing the finger, and Look around you, Revival is needed in our minds, communities, families, and this nation to be the powerful, influential, innovative, sustainable people in which God has called us to be. We, as Black Americans , are living beneath our God-given rights and privileges. Enough! Zero victimization! We must start with accountability. The decay that's happening to us as a people today is by our own merits, seeds of ignorance, and immoral beaviors in which we have sown..., with our own bloody hands. We need a major awakening in our hoods, and blaming others for our constant bad choices will never elevate us but will eventually eliminate us. We must turn this around...! How? Running back to God, being accountable, and having a renewed mindset. No one is dismissing injustices. However, we are exposing our ownself inflicting injustices we need to deal with as well.
