I have been watching your videos for half a year! I like your presentation! I like the bullet pouch the tools and gun. I like the way you have bible scriptures at the end of the video. I like the music in this video Leaning on the ever lasting arms. David Back.

Good video. Also called a possibles bag. I make all my blackpowder gear. Bushcraft goes hand and hand with blackpowder. When I deer hunt I cheat. I don't pack my bag, I pack 4 or 5 speed loads. My rifle and pistol are both .50's but looking hard at a Kibler flintlock in .36. Nice looking rifle.

I always liked a divided shot pouch so I could put balls and patches in one side and all the other stuff in the other side. You have good long straps on your shot bag and Powder horn. Having to wrestle with too short straps when wearing heavy coats is something you don't need in the woods. Have the little woman cut you plenty of patches and use that folding knife as little as possible in the woods. I like your videos.

I find that, as a married man, a button on my lip is advisable.
Unfortunately, I mostly walk around with it undone.

At one time just about all frontier reenactors adopted the persona of Mark Baker. One would have thought the entirety of the colonies looked the same and if you didn't you were mocked for not doing so. When you think in 18th century terms everything was pretty much home made with out any frivolous non useful items.

Mark did give the interest in living history a tremendous boost but, I agree, to this day a lot of those who portray the long hunter of the middle ground are entirely brown. They made what they wore from what they had available.

@@cathywolfe1038 absolutely Mark Baker was well researched I even have a few of his books and videos. But, his was his ideal and his perception and his persona was his. I like facts and the mixtures of cultures the colonies provided virtually like you said each had what each could afford
