Excellent Videos and Crossing!👍🏻👍🏻 That alarm was flat when I came to this crossing last year in August and now it’s still flat and hasn’t been replaced or repaired yet! Could do a change with that alarm. Great Catches of the trains too though!👍🏻

Thanks very much! They seem to tend to leave replacing things a good while on this stretch of line (e.g. the old barriers at Helpston & Tallington).

Nice video and crossing! Given that it's a one-way street, I'm honestly kinda surprised that both gate arms aren't on the same side of the crossing. Also, it honestly kinda looks like that, at least across the crossing itself, the road may be two-way? Noticed the intersection on one side of it is seemingly striped to allow drivers to go the "wrong way" over the crossing.
Also kinda surprised the alarms weren't replaced when the crossing was upgraded, though I'm guessing they also worked fine at the time when the upgrade happened as well.

Thank you! There is a nearby premises, which I believe may possibly be accessed by authorised members, just over the crossing, but the road up towards Lolham is definitely one way for motor vehicles. Both alarms here did work perfectly fine when the barriers were installed.

@@SouthEastLevelCrossings Probably why the road, at least through the crossing, is two-way then. I'd imagine it'd look different if it was fully one-way at the crossing.
