Nice review of the Stihl weed eater. I have the one speed removeable battery that can be recharged and I love this weed eater. It last about 30min and works great and is easy to change the cord. No oil and gas to mixed! Thanks Brent for the video, Slim.
I got one..too late to return...having a hard time. Using....thread gets too short then I have to pull thread out again. Constant battle...I've become frustrated with it ...thinking of just buying and electric one....that's what I use to use before but was convinced in purchasing this product....will probably go back to buying electric which I found much simpler....
Is it just the head and string that you are having trouble with? If so, you could always try a new head. I wouldn't give up just yet if it is only the cutting head that is giving you trouble.
I wonder if it's the c6-2 head. stihl say soak nylon cord in water for 12 to 24h before use. bit of a joke eh! I bought a Chinese copy of c5-2, no soaking required and am happy as pie.
I returned this. Why? Similar semi professional brands at the same price point last significantly longer. To turn this into edger was a real pain as the handle doesn't rotate.
@@WesternEquipment Black & Decker 1/2 the price. Easy weed to edger. Battery lasts +45 min if 2.5 Ah. Takes .065 string but found it sufficient. They sell per-configured packs of strings (3 pack) drop and replace. Extremely light. Very low noise.

What is the smallest stihl electric weedeater that can take a blade for the head?
Why not link the string replacement procedure in this video? Please do so
hi does it take the 25-2 head and can you remove that metal wall guide
How does it compare for power with the fsa60r?
Any difference between the FSA 80r? Performance and power , Thanks
Thanks for the review, well done. 👍
I hope it was helpful and thanks for watching!
How to make the string go longer when it gets short?
Does the equipment work faster stronger with the 500s battery?
I would say it lasts longer but not necessarily faster.

Mines rubbish, battery lasts 15 mins and red lights after 10 , , only suitable for homeowner use
Way better if that thing lasted 45-1 hour at least.
In ideal conditions I’m sure the run time would be better but it was super hot this day and I was really putting it to work on that driveway.
Clockwise motion eww
Very bad battery design, they very easy get brokened, better off buying ego....
Interesting. What is better about the Ego?
@@WesternEquipment the batteries are far more rugged, overall the product seem to be better designed...
The battery is inside the trimmer casing how is it a bad design
@@allgood6535 basically a plastic battery that very easily gets broken...
@@Displays.1234. all batteries have a plastic encased body same as husqvarna your phone a computer pretty much everything
