My senior prom freaking sucked. I felt so ugly the whole time bc my makeup was bad and dress was not flattering and the actual dance was so lame and the “after party” was just a bunch of people drinking and I left after 5 minutes
As a senior myself, I’m going 2 something called a, “Spring Fling”, which is basically prom, but not really at the same time. It’s this Friday after school, from 6p.m. - 9p.m. in the evening. The dress code is semi-formal, so I’mma probably wear a dress shirt and a blazer. It’s being run by one of my absolute favorite former teachers. Mr. Rherig, who looks like Gabriel Van Helsing. Like, I’m not joking, he’s got the fedora-like hat and everything. Obviously NOT the crossbow, ‘cuz that’s inappropriate and illegal. And Van Helsing is one of my all-time favorite movies. I adore the Van Helsing movie and so does he. We talk abt it all the time, as well as the Bram Stoker Dracula novel, which is one of my all-time favorites books. He prefers the annotated Dracula, and recommends that I try that. I hope they play The Spin Doctors and Huey Lewis & The News, which r 2 of my all-time favorite bands.
