This study also shows what a real life bat man is like...

Hi l read your article about l am a scientist and I don't believe in facts and l was wondering is it possible for a human to control the wind. Most people say it is crazy but l know someone who has the wind react crazy around them. So l was wondering is it real or just a coincidence.

What happens to the bats when you’re done experimenting?

I've heard fruit bats taste like tuna.

Why not put the electrod to human. They are most evolve spp on earth. You will get reply to many unanswered que. Sometimes I can't understand to ideology if scientific community to avoid the data from human sample by justifying the ethics. When we have to serve humanking so we must do experiment on Human.

There's plenty of single neuron work done with human epilepsy patients which have electrodes already implanted in their brain for monitoring seizures. However you cannot simply put electrodes in the brain of a healthy individual.. for very obvious reasons. Ethics + i dont think there will be any volunteers..

Having those electrodes inside the bats' brain should not only change their brains activities but their social behaviors as well...

      But it's painless process...

K, I'll bite - if you're implying that the electrodes cause the bats to feel continuous pain, that is very unlikely. The brain itself has no pain receptors. Any residual pain from the scalp and periosteum procedures during the implantation surgery (which is done under general anesthesia, with painkillers given afterwards) should be minimal given that they give the bats a week to recover before starting experiments.
