Sir, I am a fellow Patersonian and major History nerd. I would love to meet you and connect on Paterson early history and North East NJ history even. Great video love the content 🙌🏾
I really appreciated the knowledgeable presentation by Richard Polton concerning Paterson's architectural, economic and social history. So many greats to celebrate in Paterson: L'Enfant's design of the waterfall's raceways, birthplace of Colt rifle manufacturing, Alexander Hamilton's role in establishing the Society for Establishing Useful Manufactures from which evolved mills, locomotives, dyeing factories, and beer-making to quench America's growing appetite for goods, transport and suds. Richard also gave illustrated examples of the many styles of architecture in the City, ranging from Dutch, English manor, Victorian, and French Empire, illuminating the City's many attributes. I look forward to visiting Paterson again soon.
I was born in 1944 and lived in Paterson till I was 20 yrs old. What a difference it is now. Thanks for the history. JS

Wow, this was great. It would be nice to see updates on the construction of the new Hinchcliffe Stadium and see the progress.

Well done!
In the future you should show what those locations look like today.
Should be titled the rise and fall of Paterson 😢
I think Jacob Horandt residence was on Union Av.
Once a great, clean city. Now a dump
