He's such a fascinating dude. The impression I get was he was shredding LONG before he actually had the equipment to make it sound good. lmao Like, if you heard him talking about equipment, the way he's so excited about little things like wattage, you'd think he was a complete newbie to music in general.... And then he just casually shreds through a lick most people couldn't conceive of, as if it's just breathing. lol
First time I ever heard one of these was the other day from a artist named Gran Hechicero, holy crap the sound coming from this thing blew me away! Had no idea Brendan Small From DeathKlok also played one, makes sense!
i have the Carvin Belair 50watt 2x12 version of the vintage head. It has plenty of dirt "soak" on channel 2 for any type of guitar playing, even before an overdrive pedal. this video is really pushing me towards the Legacy 3 lunchbox....
he probably had a cab with v30s in it already, but the legacy cabs do have v30s in them so if you wanted a cabinet comparable to Mesas and Marshalls you can get one of those.
Back in the good ol days, Carvin amp/pro audio made some world class stuff. The last few years, that company was ran straight into the ground. Totally fucked up a great American made company located in San Diego. What the fuck were they thinking? I had the X-100, a mixer and the Carvin pro-amp. All of it was killer at a fraction of the price of the name brand stuff. Shame.
"No big deal but my best friend Steve Vai just sent me an amplifier" haha brilliant

was there a conspiracy against Carvin I think they are the most under rated amp company of all time!
I love my V3!!!
is legacy still a good amp company
🎼 Too bad Carvin stopped making them!
I should try playing with sounds, because I scoop the crap out of my mids
Great amp. I'm having 60 cycle hum noise. How can I fix this?
+Vasco Costa Santos most amps have a ground button you can push that will get rid of the 60 cycle hum.
dont use single coils lole
I wonder if he was using a carvin speaker cab or something else

What do you mean by ran straight into the ground? Did they lose the quality they once had?
