Wow! I didn’t see an extra video coming but i loved it! Can’t wait for the sand cat, also will you be adding any fennec foxes or aardvarks to this house? I think it would be cool to add them to the other side of the building or maybe extent the building more to the right so it wraps around the circular path more. Anyway this was a cool build and I really want to see a cute San cat in this zoo! 😀
It was supposed to have Fennecs but I replaced them with the porcupines when I realised I wasn’t going to put them with the meerkats. I’m not sure what else will be going in here at the moment!

Whoa! What a great episode! Y'know how hyped I was, and am, for seeing the arid habitats. It really forces out the creativity. I love the Meerkats being able to climb on top of their burrow and the bark wall in the porcupine habitat first looked overly synthetic and ugly... But it was like watching Bob Ross splatting down something wild only to pull it back into something magnificent! It turned out great! If this is only the beginning of the desert habitats I am really stoked to see what more you'll make!
I will definitely be making a return trip then! Only thing I don't like is their opening hours - 10-5 is nowhere near long enough, I got there at 11, stayed til closing and missed a whole section. They should open til 6 in the summer.
I've only been watching you a few days now. I tried to recreate the islands, which appears to have worked and has made my building get so much better. Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to recreate the nile monitors but can't do the water in the glass 😂. Another lovely build. Thanks.

@@ZSHplays Do you know a way to contact Frontier with suggestions? I think there should be an option in Sandbox mode to always be able to have perfect animals available, it’s annoying having to wait around for good ones

Brilliant I just started playing the game again only problem I have is the roofing it’s never looks straight when I finish it. I never know which plants to put into the habitats especially if they come from different areas of the world
I know you have probably completed this build by the release of this video but the Living Desert Zoo in California may be a good reference for landscaping.
I’ve only just found your channel and been watching the SBZ series right through from the beginning to catch up. You may not see this being on an older video but how do you have so much zoo knowledge? Do you work in a zoo IRL or something? This creation is so realistic and impressive I cannot imagine the amount of offscreen work that goes into it. Also how do you move something by only one pixel? Every time I try do this it jumps like a meter.
The porcupines do not have burrowing? Missed for a moment where you build the custom treetrunk and then got very excited for a destructible log. Too bad that isn't in the pack!

I basically decide what sections are happening and what is in them. Then I wing it 😆 Or Frontier announce a new DLC and I come up with something to match it
Will we be seeing the dromedary camel, addax and black rhino at some point in the future? Also if you have a sponsor at Frontier, can you see in getting us the emperor penguin and Tasmanian devil in the game, along with a ginormous load of flying birds?
All 3 of those animals are possibilities at the moment, to be honest I had no time to plan the Desert House so I’m not 100% on the species kit yet. As for Frontier, I have no influence over them whatsoever 😆 They send me stuff and answer my questions and are generally lovely but I can’t get them to addd species into the game 😆

I'm 11 years so i don't realy get that much money from my parents, i get 30 swedish kr every week, but i bought a beat saber dlc not so long ago but the leak for the dlc was just leaked after i purchased the BS dlc! And i somehow have minus 53 swedish kr. So i must wait

Roofs are hard! Plant wise don’t worry too much about where they come from, just go for what looks good

They use the burrow enrichment, I don't imagine they burrow themselves but I've not had long to play with them!
