First of all Tambaram is not spelt Thambaram😂and Selaiyur is not spelt Cellaiyur 😢 Take it from me a born and bred Tambaram boy and ex MCC student 😊. Cheers from Australia .
@@judefernandez827 Glad that I stroked your ego; I went to MCC too. And thanks for correcting the spellings. I used Tamil and then write it following the phonetics. Tambaram is how an Englishman would pronounce. Don't know the spelling about Selaiyur aka. Cellaiyur. But that was the name of the hostel within MCC where I lived. It was 1973-74. Fought very hard to get into their Cricket team; but was benched for all games because there were many fast bowlers. I did my Pre-University there. Just 11 months; could not shine in that short time. The coach was good; never showed up; he was more into athletics. They had a good field hockey team. In cricket, we were beaten by Jain at the third game. Could not continue in MCC, because of IIT. There went my dream. But those 11 months were great. From Tambaram (or Thambaram), I used to take the train to Park station and then walk to Mount Road to see the movies. During that time MGR's block buster movie was running wild in Devi Paradise. Hollywood westerns played in Devi. I saw Jaws and Star Wars (original, now vol IV) in other theaters. Buharis and Billal were great; some are close now. Madras, we call it was one of the best cities I lived. You mentioned that you are from Australia. Are you living in one of the suburbs of Sydney? If so, let me know; I lived in Lidcombe.
Old Train No.66017, 66018 Miss 😅 Vellore to Beach
Good. But Beach-Tambaram run delayed by 17 minutes is not digestible.
அருமை நன்றி
வரவேற்கிறேன்
Why are they utilising WAG 9 for passenger trains ?
As These Trains Are Running As Special They Use WAG9 Bcz Other Locos Are Already Alloted For Some Other Trains
Passenger non MEMU train days are back!

Narrative is missing which is not good for a video. Thambaram, the home of Madras Christian College and Cellaiyur cannot be easily forgotten.
