It's okay. I got the big sad. Landed a Data Engineer Consultant role in October and still have not started with loans and debt to pay off... so I had to reapply for roles. Oh well...we will get through this!!!

My New Years wasn’t great either . I balled my eyes out because I came home from work . I work as a checker at a grocery store. We closed early on Christmas Eve but not New Years . I wasn’t going to do anything if I wasn’t working . But .. I did have a rough 2021.
I spent the entire pandemic isolating and wearing a mask only to get omicron during winter break like on CHRISTMAS DAY. Needless to say my winter break was depressing asf and I feel you
I’m not in school . So really didn’t have a “break” I mean… I did. But still worked the week of Christmas and New Years .
I’m so sorry about hearing about the COVID situation. It’s nuts. I’m extremely lucky o haven’t gotten sick . I live at home with my parents a brother . My brother has Down’s syndrome, which means he’s more prone to getting it, which he has not !!

Did in fact spend my 21st birthday two weeks ago in a target isle looking for cheap Margherita ingredients because my entire house caught covid like 3 days before my non refundable trip and went to bed at a crisp 11pm. In hindsight very funny and good mems. Fingers crossed for you in April!!
New Year’s Eve I was at the ER for 6 hours just for a Covid test. Luckily I got negative.

Hopefully MIT people can help make the world happier this year. I carefully follow two examples. MIT researchers seem to have a real chance of creating working fusion power plants which would eliminate poverty world wide. Investors are betting real money on that. And MIT genetic engineering researchers like Feng Shang are with colleagues at Harvard and elsewhere, how in the world could Berkeley not admit Nina?, headed toward curing natural death. I am too old to benefit, most likely. But Others will benefit.
