HANDWERKER - Making walnut 4-way table with tambour door

- It's a wonderful Korea's traditional furniture that doesn't change over time.
Making a 4-way table is the most fun for me. There are also various ways of returning each ash. They adjust the proportion of each material and add a lot of details in various ways.
I thought it was also meaningful to design traditional furniture to match modern functions and living spaces, and to add harmonious functions between the West and tradition.
Tambour door is very open and practical. I thought it would go well with the pleasant proportion and openness of the table.
This work was produced for the purpose of submitting to the KOFURN 2021, 26th regular exhibition of the Korea Furniture Design Association.
I was worried that the structure was not working well, but the production was completed more easily than I thought.
The Tambour door production process has been simplified, but we will upload the organized video soon. I haven't produced many tambour doors, but I'll introduce a relatively easy and simple process in this production.

이런식으로 만드는이유나 장점이 있나요 ? 끼워맞추면 보이지도 않는 부분인데 왜 이렇게 만드는지 궁금합니다
전통의 가구가 현대인의 생활(특히 아파트)에 적합하지 않을 때도 있는 것 같아요. 그러한 면에서 전통 기술위에 실용적인 기능과 새로운 디자인을 접목하는 한트베르커의 프로젝트에 깊은 인상을 받았습니다. 감사합니다.

네 맞습니다 쇠목이 얇은데 트랙을 만들려니까 수작업이 곤란해서 기계가공 했어요

궁금한게 있는데 켤때 왜 밴드쏘를 이용하시나요?? 테이블쏘보다 편한가요???
테이블 쏘는 부피와 길이가 크면 마찰에 의한 변형이 있습니다. 밴드쏘는 마찰에 의한 소재 변형이 적습니다

현준님 안녕하세요! 이번 작업에서는 60R트랙에 각재는 13mm 폭에 두께 12mm로 제작했습니다. 장부 두께는 트랙 폭에 따라 결정됩니다. 도면으로 코너 R을 결정하시고 퓨전으로 그려보셔도 금방 아실 수 있으실 겁니다.
