When i was in jail as a y.o. i went to the libary and there was one of his books in the library. It was a rhyming slang dictionary. And it would help me write poetry snd lyrics while in jail. I have to give him credit for inspiring me to write and jept me out of trouble while inside. And also enabled me to write poetry to this day.

I'm really glad I found Benjamin through his poetry, and later interviews like this. I used to see myself as non-prejudiced, and watching people like him and Akala talk about race in public with such eloquence really highlighted how prejudiced I truly was. He was a great man, compassionate and full of amazing points like the ones in this video. With the way the UK has devolved into populism lately, people like him are more important than ever.
