  • MK IX 2 seat Spitfire - The Grace Spitfire, ML407. ML407 is one of the most original Spitfire's flying today with most of what you see flying around in the WWII. This particular aircraft was also accredited with shooting down the first enemy aircraft on D-Day, a fact confirm by the pilot and ground crew which the Grace family were very close to. As a family, the Grace's have been in vintage aviation for over 30 years. We offer the opportunity to fly in this special aeroplane along with other aircraft of it's type, visit us - www.ultimatewarbirdflights.co.uk

Amazing what can be produced when your back is to the wall! Great footage, thanks for sharing.

Beautiful film footage of Gracie in the skies. Every time I'm at my local pub The Aviator in Sywell, its always such a nice sight to look out of the windows and see ML407, even if its just sitting on the airfield doing nothing. Such a lovely sight along with the Seafire, Mustang and Buchons, One day I'm going to have to raid the piggy bank and go up for a flight in her

Flew in ML407 in August 2009. An absolutely fantastic experience. The Spitfire is truly as responsive as people say and with an authentic history behind it, just an incredible experience..
