Earlier this year, when he announced the change in his style, I was disappointed. Unfortunately, I wasn't a full listener of Static Reset back in the day, but I've loved his work since Reborn as Code:Pandorum. Real raw, unbridled power, pure energy that eats you up, chews you, spits you out and then stomps on you relentlessly. It was a difficult time in my life when I found his music. It's the biggest cliché to say it 'saved my life' and all that. But believe me - it gave me the strength to get up out of the mud (addiction is just that). Since then I've supported him as best I can, it's blasted practically everywhere from my headset to my car. Everywhere. Several times a week. On reflection, I understand his decision - he was incapable of renewal, no matter how hard he tried. In any case, I wish him with all my heart that the new path he has chosen will bring him the greatest possible victory. He deserves it, because I consider his work to be by far the best of any contemporary producer. I am grateful that such a dark, dystopian miracle as this song could be created. The chorus and the drop are absolutely amazing, it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.

This track reminds me of Excision's older tracks that had some Lovecraftian feel to it. But this is more orchestral, and Excision's was gritty and brutal.

Videodrome has some bangers tho. I also love that it’s more experimental and different than CP’s other works. God and LC are great but Videodrome is unique
I gotta admit, the tracks in this LP don't really feel as authentic as his God LP. Like, God LP was a journey, the tracks were very memorable. On the other hand, this feels more like a showcase of tracks with all the different people, but still.. the production quality is on a whole new level.
