Congrats on 200! Looking forward to the next series. I did this another way. Start with a revolve but solid. Draw an offset slot and pocket down. Thickness to 2mm. I wasn't sure of the thickness would work 😮 . Anything more complex and niether way would work.
Hi everyone specially the author to whom we have to thank for this long series of exercises. I would like to see the whole series redone using Part Design wb, maybe when the Version 1.0 is release. Cheers to everybody! Congrats💯 PS* I'm lucky because I can follow easely videos in 4 languages : Portuguese, Spanish, English and French. I can also follow Italian but is a bit harder.😎
Thank you. It's impressive that you are well versed in 4 lingos. Should you pick up on another one as a fun, pick Bangla, and I will dedicate a video just for you. The part design series sounds fun. Cheers.
Just would like to add you are among my goto channels for FreeCAD. The 200 series and Weekend specials are the hands on and real world examples that help make FreeCAD easier to use. Thanks again. The rest of the list is MangoJelly (of course), Open Source CNC, 4 Axis Printing, Adventures in Creation, OffsetCAD, and a new channel DuyQuang Dan. Mango gives the lecture, you give the homework and labs, the rest [except DuyQuang] are CNC-CAD with FreeCAD. DuyQuang is showing the really hard stuff - Art and organic forms. 🤯
DuyQuang Dan channel is incredible! He's dedicated to art pieces and Curves workbench at it highest level!!! The other ones as many can say are masters of FreeCAD. I'm still expecting a master on Arch/BIM workbench. Oh! there's a french channel that's a reference to me: jp willm
Thanks for this serie of videos. A treasure for the ones of us that are trying to start with Freecad.
Congrats on making through all 200 exercises mate, I've very much enjoyed watching and learning from you.
Thanks a lot for all these exercises, I learned a lot
