The fire animations are gorgeous!
This is the first time that I’ve seen the new map Central Plain. I hope they could add another new map in Southern China, cause that region is still a large void on the world map of aoe3.
Sort of amazing, because I thought the changes to Mongolian and Black Flag army in DE were regressions. As it turns out, the change to Mongolian Army was a major improvement, because now you can deploy it in Commerce Age, and it's a hard-counter to cavalry raiding strats: the Steppe Riders provide counter-raiding, while the Keshiks counter the cavalry raiders hard by having attack bonuses and being faster than the cavalry raiders.

i think with the general buff of mercenaries in this Definitive edition (with the age up bonus most notably), spies might become actually good options !
I feel like the mongolian army is one of the most solid cav choices somone can go for in early game.
Why do you return villagers to CT then let them out again to gather resources. Ive seen this in many other videos. Can u explain the reason ?
It’s faster. It’s like they teleport through the TC. Also you can’t be gotten by bad path finding.

I don't have the sound of the gun fire and the voice of narrator in history mode... I don't have the voice When you select the explorer or villagers.
Pls help me guys 😭
wish they would have made it so that the gatling gun and chu ku nu fired like the flametrower instead of short bursts

@dansil92 yeah strong, sure, but pros never pick spain and loses easily vs the other civs.

@dansil92 i played spain in the old version and definitive edition, yes they have so much changes, but is simply bad, nobody picks spain and who picks spain looses vs another civ, bad civ, no sense historicaly units and bad situacional cards
