      Lol cheers Jay, I’ve had this beast for quite sometime, was always the Crawler I’d give to kids and mates when I knew they had no idea how to drive so it’s had a tough life but just keeps going and going and going, I thought with this vid I’d just go bigger and bigger until something gave in… and lol it was only a ball end link that broke, tough beast, but yeah she is way fast on a 2s in high gear and insane on 3s, more like a crawler basher.

    Hey mate, do you know if the diffs are open or locked on the standard version? The pro version comes with diff lock options on the transmitter but I'd rather save some money and get the standard version. Great clip btw.

    • @IDORC
      @IDORC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Paul, the standard (like mine) has the high speed/low speed option via controller but not lock able diffs, personally I don’t ever use a lock diff function so I went for this version too.

      I ended up getting one of these and they are pretty good value! They're fun in high gear. Is your light bar plugged into the receiver or do you have it hooked up to a separate battery? I plugged some lights (front and rear) into a free receiver channel and something wasn't right. The battery, motor and esc heated up and sapped juice for 2 batteries pretty quick. Seems fine after unplugging the light kit now though.

    Looks very nice. Do you know the total spent on the mods you did to it? You mentioned new shocks and the stronger servo.
    Also out of interest was a sponsored video?

    • @IDORC
      @IDORC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate, definitely not a sponsored vid, I wish I was sponsored lol, the shocks are expensive but not necessary, I only put them on because I had them laying around, they tend to leak I’ve found, the servo was only about $60 Aus dollars and is not the best but decent enough, it also has different wheels and tyres, again they are pretty ordinary tyres and do not perform well for crawling, they are metal though which add some nice weight to the wheels. I just through it together with these spare wheels for the vid. All in all stock is probably a better set up lol

    This vid 👀 how many cameras you using? How long did it take to film and how long for editing? Absolutely awesome work 😎

    • @IDORC
      @IDORC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cheers mate, only 2 cameras in this and did the filming and driving by myself, the bigger/better vids have at least 3 cameras and 2 of us, a driver and a cameraman, makes it easy and we can use the drone for shots… but hard by myself lol, usually a couple of hours filming and about 6hrs on the editing for the bigger vids, thus one I filmed and cut in the same day… only about 3hrs on the edit

    • @rcchallenge8626

      @@IDORC that’s bloody great work to get all done yourself 💪 I definetly need to invest in a 2nd Cam soon will make life a lot easier to get those flowing shots instead of trying to hit something the same way from different angles. Great content keep it it up 👊🏼

    • @IDORC
      @IDORC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rcchallenge8626 thanks mate, I appreciate it, we only usually set one camera up at a time and it down to the editing to make it flow usually, hitting the same spots certainly help though. This vid I did set up 2 cams for a couple of jumps…. Didn’t know how long she was going to last lol.
