I just tried this on an Android phone and it works like a champ! I have been struggling for weeks to do this with a GoPro 9 and it has been a nightmare. I had this working flawlessly in 10 minutes. Thanks for this!

Yes, you could add multiple sources by opening each one in its own browser.

Great sharing. Tried this app before works well. While there is no latency issue with usb, if u record music like playing a guitar there is a tiny weeny bit of latency on video (for sound best to add a sound card ofcourse). But not obvious, only for the trained visuals and ears. ✌
Hi, does this work with an external microphone w/o loosing sync? On Elgato's EpocCam Pro I am always loosing sync, even using the cabled connectivity :-(

I’ve found a lot of sync issues come from a low upload speed or an older graphics card. Have you found any ways to connect a cam that didn’t cause a sync issue?

There's a few ways to do this based on your budget. The free way would be to open a new browser for each camera source, turn off the audio on all of them except the one you want, and add them as guests.

I have been using Iriun for quite some time. Iriun by far is one of the best. Other options include IvCam, Droid Cam etc. Also, if you use OBS, obsdroid is worth checking out.

Yes, you can.
Does this work in basic or is the upgrade required. On the free version there is no cam/mic under the gear icon, only settings. When I enter settings and click audio in the drop down box the Iruin is present and allows me to use my smart phones audio. But when I attempt the same for camera, only my webcam is present in the drop down box. If using your smart phone as a webcam can only be achieved by upgrading your subscription then stating this fact would save new customers of Streamyard a ton of time

Great! Can this solution handle manual settings, like manual focus/exposure/color temperature? And does it recognize external bluetooth mics?
For all of that, look into Filmic Pro. You’ll need an HDMI cable and an inexpensive capture card ($20) but you’ll get all of that (except the audio) with the best possible quality.

The day that my phone actually hooks into my computer and they talk to each other is the day that I will drop dead from a heart attack from shock.

Great software. But...My iPhone camera is not showing up on the StreamYard choices for cameras. I am using the free version. Phone connected to same WiFi and connected via a cable.
Do you have the Iriun software installed as well? On Mac, you may need to go into System Preferences and approve their software to get the camera to work.

Thank you, found that a tad confusing. The sheet says that iOS 11-12.2: is supported but for audio-only (no camera support). What does that mean? Meanwhile, I can record on my Streamyard, fuzzy since it's the free version. So what part of my IOS is it that won't be supported? Or is it saying with my phone as the webcam the computer will only support audio? Thank you for any clarity you can offer.
Hey! If your iPhone is on iOS 11-12.2, Mobile Safari will not be able to access the camera, but it will be able to access the microphone. This is a limitation of the features within those iOS versions. If your phone is completely up to date, you should have no problem. This does not affect your computer at all. - Katie 🦆

I have installed Iriun on my phone. However after installed it showed: To use USB connect the cable and enable USB debugging. When I clicked on enable USB debugging , it prompted Turn on Developer option first? Do I need to set my phone as developer mode?
Some Androids ask for this. You could try IVcam as an alternative to this app, it works the exact same way. See if that prompts the same thing. I run developer mode on my Android and it’s fine. You just get some more options to choose from.
Why not send a link to your phone from StreamYard and join via the link? Just curious what benefit this method has over joining the stream via a link.
That’s a good question.
You can have control over the camera doing it this way, vs no control when doing it the other way. The free version of this app is limited but the paid version gives you manual video controls. IVcam gives you even more controls (another app).
Opening another browser for an additional cam source is fine for computers that can handle it, but weaker machines can struggle to do this smoothly.

Why i can't use my phone via the link i can get inside Streamyard Studio?
If you set up a phone as a second camera, you can absolutely do that. The reason you would use this method from the video is if you want to use your smartphone’s camera as the camera from your computer. It’s a “handshake” system, where they require having an app and desktop software to communicate, an unlock the phone so you can access the camera from your computer.

I have an old iPhone 6 and it didn’t work. I then tried it with an iPhone 11 and it worked with no problems. Just a note to anyone watching this; this may not work with older iPhone models.
It’s likely dependent on the version of OS. Some devices may not be supported because they can’t run a version of the OS.
I'm having trouble. Streamyard on my laptop doesn't pick up the Iriun camera.

You can. Just send the guest link from StreamYard to each broadcast. Be sure to also mute the microphone on the devices.
For Iriun, you can try using multiple devices. See how it reacts.

If they software option you choose supports Chromebook, yes. The process would be virtually identical. Maybe check out Droidcam?

Can you use 2 phones together?
You need to open each one in it’s own browser. Every cam source can be added by opening a new browser.

Good question. Go to the site and see if it’s compatible. I don’t have a chrome book to test this.
Thanks - I just did my first livestream on the weekend but I just used my webcam - it went well and a few of my Subscribers were there, gained a new one and am getting quite a few views after the fact on it now. It was a very positive experience so I want to do it again and get better
When I click iriun in streamyard it flickers the camera and a black screen saying please start iriun. Anybody know why streamyard is doing that?
Did you try restarting your computer to free up resources? I think it's the Iriun software not being able to start your camera.

hihi this was working great with my iPhone X until I recently upgraded my wifi network, it is no longer connecting to my iPhone X even when both my laptop and iPhone X is on the same network. Although it works just fine when I am using my iPhone 12 Pro Max.. Anyone have any idea why..? ):

I scanned the .exe file with VirusTotal and it showed that there's one " Trojan.Kryptik!1.66AB (CLASSIC)" with the Rising anti virus scanner, is it safe to unpack the .exe?
I just spent some time looking online for that and it appears to be a false positive. I’m also not able to replicate the warning.
Perhaps try different malware/virus software to compare.
I haven’t had any issues with this exe or app. That said, if you’re uncomfortable with it, good alternatives are EpocCam and iVCam.
Just sign in with streamyard on your phone.
This is for people who want to run streamyard on a computer.

Did you also try restarting your computer? Iriun (and most software), require you to restart or provide camera access via your system preferences.

Hi. Ok. I have the phone as a web cam, but If I need to also use the computer for people to see my face and the phone to show my hands to my public, how can I do this without the mic issues as there is a noise. I am a cardmaking and crochet teacher and I need to demonstrate my hands while I talk to people. I can't find the way to this and I will have to cancel my suscription. :(
You need 2 camera sources. Make 1 source your main source in Streamyard, and then send yourself the guest code inside of Streamyard, and make your 2nd device the "guest." Make sure to turn off the audio for the guest. You might have to play with your audio settings to reduce audio echoes if you hear any, Streamyard has an option for that too. Wear headphones to remove it.
