  • You want to know how is the normal day-to-day experience of a EUC vs Scooter or Electric Scooter if you want? In this video, I show you many situations where one of these 2 personal electric vehicles completely destroys the other PEV.
EUC VS Electric Scooter? Which one do you think is the real winner? Have you had the chance to ride EUC and Electric Scooter (e Scooter)?
Hope that you enjoy the EUC VS Scooter Battle between 2 PEVs that cost around $1000.

I've used both and go to the super market on my Electric scooter, why would I fold it to go in? ... I just go in and walk around with it, I have a reusable bag which I put in one handle and makes it much easier to not have to carry that weight, the scooter does it for me, so +1 vs unicycle for me ... also point #2 stars, I once again don't fold mine and go down I just go down walking it and continue once I'm down. Sure EUC at this price point would be a bit faster than what you can get, but I've been riding EUC for years and recently got into electric scooters, I much prefer E Scooters now for real world use. EUC were more of a hobby but never actual personal transportation for me. my 2c as an avid user of both.

EDIT a year later after 8 EUCs, a Mantis 10 V2, E-skate (Tynee Stinger on 105 cloud wheels), and a OneWheel XR (sold).
The below was me trying (unsuccessfully) to talk myself out of getting an EUC, ignore it as mostly rubbish, EUC is the best. Got other PEVs just so I could appreciate how much better EUC is, which was my 1st PEV :) Only reservations about EUC is strong crosswind stability, lack of weather sealing on most current suspension performance wheels, leg tiredness/wobbles in braking (need to keep carving ever so slightly), and electrical issues that still lead to some VERY RARE unexpected cut-outs, even on the latest Lynx etc. Most of those can be mitigated but you need to be aware of those shortcomings. I no longer push to the limit "full throttle" like I would on motorbikes - get an EUC to cruise on, its the most fun/practical PEV. Kingsong 18XL or L would be my recommendation for starting out on the cheap. I got an OG Sherman for 1st wheel, the kingsong 18L would have been better. Also bought a CPro but think those type are too heavy/fast/cumbersome unless your roads require it. The "vintage" 18L is my most used wheel but there is no traffic here.
    E-scooter advantages
    1. will consistently outbrake an euc,
    2. can be ridden at a crawl in heavy pedestrian traffic dragging one foot for balance and then move off effortlessly, can even "track-stand" on the spot if, like me, you're a moto-trials rider,
    3. will not generally faceplant, whether human error or not
    4. very easy learning curve also makes it inherently safer to control, especially braking,
    5. can carry 2 people, and even have a sidecar attached for a dog, as someone has done,
    6. can change foot position and have a seat attached, so less tiring
    7. wheelies, skids and stoppies are move fun
    8. ready to use, and jump, out the box without custom fitting power pads etc
    9. lights, horn, mirror on handlebars adds safety
    10. less conspicuous

First of all loved your comment and the lack of consistency,,,
      1. Outbreak in what? Lolol we can test battery and even hill climb and you will see who outbreak what
      2. EUC can be used in any environment I can walk speed on a EUC and since it takes the same space has me forget your ridden at a crawl heavy pedestrian area it makes no sense you can’t even go inside a supermarket with it at your side or you forgot that even EUC I can walk with a handle?
      3. One of my best friends is dentist you know how many people go there with broken teeth? Is not because of eucs I have 30.000 km on my legs and nearly any accident… or you forgot the size of a EUC tire compared to a 10 to 11 inch tires on scooters when bigger the safer
4 safer to control Lolol is not the EUC is connect to your body so even before thinking to break the wheel react to your body position but yes easier to learn
5 2 people just for a stupidity and dangerous situation should never be ride by two in the first place… just showing that has an advantage shows why scooters are such a problem
6 I can also change foot and also change the angle of my pedals to reduce fatigue I can see that you never ride eucs
      7 I don’t understand this one
8 finally you are right in one
9 yes you have all that and also more maintenance and I can add lights to a EUC I can have a horn on my watch I can put a mirror on my helmet so I don’t see where you are safer
      10. Conspicuous??? More than you on this comment impossible
Have a great day bro :) I love scooters but don’t be so pushing things to one side this video is showing practicality anyway hope you can see that your comments also make no sense if seen in a different perspective

By the way you video is pushing towards euc, so double standarts right there. (Supermarket point was absurd, you didnt show the wobbles of EUC, stability of the vehicles in general, didnt point out that scooter has in general smaller tires, so it comes with advantages and disadvatages in some aspects, servicability is also important for day to day and i could go on and on). If you will continue with your videos i would offer you to check in on your ego and relax, people in this space are chilled and not fighting eachother, we are having fun so go be butthurt somewhere else.

Ten inch inflated tires and amortization Max speed something around 45 km and much better range than inmotion V5f cause Kaabo has two times larger battery. That's good range but you can buy V8f for 1200 euro and Kaabo 10C for 792 Euro. V8F battery i 518 Wh and 10c has 748 Wh. I did on it 45 km and had battery left for something around 7 km more which is about 32 miles. The speed was usually 35 km/h which is 22 miles/h. I do not ride with full speed which is 27 miles/h cause it is not safe. EUC is a great device but has for me two flaws.. First minor is price compared to scooter and second is major: cut of possibility and weaker brakes, that's why I still hesitate. My weight is 100kg and 30 km with safe battery level left is absolute necessity. Even V8f could be to weak. Than we start to think about prices to times more than escooter and it starts to be a toy, quite pricy one not only PEV. The future especially in EU and it's worse side ( countries which were behind the iron curtain) could be turbulent so I think that having financial backup and not spending to much on a toys is important. I do not think that in my case EUC crash ESC as a PEV which I can fit in my car and use as a commute device to city center.

You can push the scooter by its handlebar in a supermarket _and_ even rest you basket on the foot rest.
Also, when it comes to the ability to climb hills, that's all dependent on the scooter you use.
I don't see EUCs ever being the most popular e-micromobility vehicle simply because of the learning curve it has compared to a bike or a scooter.
I would love EUCs to he more popular and legal in the UK, though! 🙏

Which one can a complete beginner pick up and ride? EUC's have such a steep learning curve that I've seen people simply give up. Scooters can be ridden by anyone at any skill level. That alone makes it a "winner" for most people despite the EUC being more capable.

This is the conversation of someone that don’t ride electric unicycles so let me tell you… I swap my car for electric unicycles In 2018. Six years later I own multiple wheels (I own 7 at the minute) I have more than 30.000 miles never had a cut off in my life hopefully or any malfunction while riding. So do I need to add up to the nonsense that you just shared? And way to dangerous… I ride everyday to go to work comeback home go to the gym supermarket etc… all the acidente that I had was never for the fault of the euc last accident was mud and previously black ice… so once again stop talking about something that you don’t have experience…

Hmmmmmmm. A lot of bias I see. 1 thing I will note is, E-scooter is easy to ride, less stress on feet/body, More control, safer, and more after market production. You gotta make some fair comparisons. Can't just give EUC 100% positive and 100% negative towards E-Scooters.

    • @MADpack
      @MADpack  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi there thank you for your comment that have all the sense but let me complete your comment. So yes e-scooters are easier to ride definitely but when you learn how to ride EUCs you feel much more connected to your EUC than to an electric unicycle. More control? If you have power pads and spike pedals on your EUC I can tell you than you are wrong since the EUC is more compact and more connected to all movements of your body so you have less control. Safer? That’s really strange to say when I’m an electric unicycle you have much bigger tires (only if you talk about the mten3 that I even don’t think is a EUC for real) so try to pass over the same hole with a escooter and a EUC and we talk about safety again. And when you talk about after market what are you trying to say? After market parts? Is so we have loads of power pads pedals protections from different brands and also protections to cover front ligh, stands, etc. this video was not about which one is my favourite or about how is to learn one and the other is bringing the scooter to a daily commute day which one is more conviniente and the escooter is far from competing. I love escooters also I still own one so if I didn’t like I would have sold that already but it give me other benefits. Related to the comfort is 50% correct some EUCs can be unconformable but if you put a suspension or different pedals or even configure the wheel to your riding style there is no problem in that also. Hope that now it makes more sense to you. I work with brands os EUC and escooters so why would I say something that will affect some possible sales?! This video have zero objective of sales but inform my audience. You are free to disagree but in the end I believe you completely missed the basics of this video… which one is better for commuting every day for $1000…
