Rocky, I almost NEVER comment, but your playing of Sitting on a Rainbow could've been Leslie himself! You nailed it. I'll bet you do a lot of his other songs, too. I took up guitar after seeing Leslie in concert, and a poor guitarist I am. Rock on, my friend; they don't write and play songs like that anymore.
Great to see you nail some of Leslie's style and tone . I saw you with John Mayall at Boulton Center on Long Island , at least twice , probably more . You did the material justice , while your own style added to it . Looking forward to the next show , with or without Mayall .
PHENOMENAL!! This is the founder of the Leslie West & MOUNTAIN Fan Club. And I just posted it on our facebook page again. Family & friends & fans of the Leslie West circle of influence are members. Check it out yall ! ;) facebook.com/theGreatFatsbies/
I’m glad i came across this video. West was a big influence on my early playing. Just did a tribute video remembering him on my channel. I’d be honored if you’d give it an ear
Sounds awesome! Question, on your ‘56 Les Paul junior pickup. I know that it’s a p90 but what magnets is it is.. is it alnico 3 or a 5? Just out of curiosity.
Amazing Rocky as always🎸🎶🌟👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great sound..
Thank you

Question from the Mountain Fan Club: "Is that an actual Sunn Coliseum PA head behind you and are you playing through it?"
I am actually playing this on my Lab-L-5 in front of the Sunn. It is actually a Sunn Sceptre..
Great video, thanks. I have a 2011 satin white LP Junior and that thing sings. Great playing too
